Hi guys! Welcome to another Splinterlands post where I share what's happening with my Splinterlands account. I wasn't able to post yesterday because I was busy with a lot of things, but today I found some time to post.
So if you've been following me, you probably know that I'm collecting Glint to buy an Epic Draw in Splinterlands.
Yesterday, I was able to collect enough Glint to purchase an Epic Draw from the Glint Shop, and what else would I do there but buy an Epic Draw, right? Hahaha!
I always say that I hope to get the cards I want, like Olivia of the Brook or Night Reaper.
So, I bought it, but of course, Splinterlands is acting up again, and I wasn't able to flip the card. I just checked my inventory to see what I got.
Guess what! I didn’t get the cards I wanted again! Hahaha!
What I got was Shock Trooper! The truth is, this card is strong, but I don’t like its electrified ability because it shocks even my allies.
But based on what I read, it’s actually good to use when the ruleset is no abilities, meaning its ability won’t affect my allies, so it’s still okay.
Hayyyyy... when will I ever get the epic cards I’ve been dreaming of?

My most used epic card is halfling refugee. It's a steal for just 1 mana :)
Yes, I often use that card as a filler, but the problem is when it's at the back, its only use is to be sacrificed to the opponent's sneak attacks.
Yup! Shock Trooper is a BEAST in the Back To Basics Ruleset - no negatives, 4 Mana and 4 Magic Dmg!!

That's the only advantage I thought of, when it has no abilities, its magic power is really strong.
Olivia is playing hard to get 😘.

Good luck next time! The shocker is a great card. You can use him to trigger martyrs or enrage, and also in "No abilities" rulesets. Also, it can be very powerful in low mana battles due to its high damage. And I know the feeling about not getting the right epics - I have a couple almost ready to level up, but I always get those that I already have levelled :-D
