Pelacor Arbalests are armed with powerful crossbows enchanted to fire bolts at extremely long distances. They are trained to wield a crossbow in each hand and can fire both simultaneously with deadly accuracy. Compounded with the Pelacor's excellent eyesight and nimble dexterity, these sharpshooters are extremely useful as snipers on the battlefield.
The Silver Shield Knight backpedaled, parrying blow after blow as the two Venari snarled and swung their swords at him in a savage and ruthless onslaught. He stumbled. Another blow sent him reeling. He fell onto his back.
The Venari leaped upon him, swords raised. He struggled to lift his own sword, but he couldn't fight them both. He was going to die.
The feathered shaft of a bolt slammed into center of each Venaris' chest simultaneously. The pair crumpled in a heap, unseeing eyes staring at the sky.
The Silver Shield Knight squinted into the sun. Above him, a Pelacor Arbalest hovered, his large white wings beating at the air. In each hand, he held an empty crossbow, still aimed at the fallen Venari.
The Pelacor Arbalest belongs to the Life Splinter and I have to be honest I don't really play too much with this Splinter, because some of their Summoners and Monsters are quite expensive and it didn't gave me enough consistency throughout the battles. 😔
That is why I like this Battle Challenges week to week, because it gives me a push to come out from my comfort zone and try something new. 😎
The Pelacor Arbalest is an amazing Ranged damage dealer within the Life deck. He has a +2 Ranged 🏹 attack and +2 Speed 👟, which is not so good. Still his most important ability is the Double Strike, which enables this monster to attack twice in each and every round. Combining him with General Sloan who will gives him +1 Ranged attack makes him a truly good monster.
His biggest weakness is his low speed unless you are playing him in the Reverse Speed ruleset and his low Health. ❤️
On Level 5 he learns how to fly with his wings, which will give him an extra layer of protection and sometimes prove to be very effective for example in an Earthquake ruleset. 😇

General Sloan
General Sloan is an amazing summoner if you can protect his monsters from the enemy fire, because Sloan gives only +1 Ranged 🏹 attack to all of his monsters. Luckily the Life monsters has got a lot of protection ability and high Health ❤️ creatures.
The tactic playing with this summoner is to hit the enemy first and strong, so you can not get the same or more amount of damage back from them. This summoner is quite cheap on the market, but his monsters not so much, so you need to make sure you hire the right ones for the battle. 😎
Pelacor Conjurer
On paper the Pelacor Conjurer is nothing special, but if you look closely he is a beast. He doesn't have any attack, but his high Speed 👟, Divine Shield (On Level 7) and quite high Health ❤️ giving him a lot of chance to dodge and take some damage. Usually I play healers behind him to give more time for him to sustain damage and he costs only 2 mana. YES! you heard it right, this Swiss knife cost literally nothing and it is easy to level him up, because it is still under mint from reward chests. 😇
Venari Crystalsmith
The Venari Crystalsmith is the perfect card for the Life Splinter, because of her Tank Heal ability, which allows her to heal her tank in the front position in every round. The Venari family is very strong and I am always happy to receive them from the loot chests, because they are still minting these cards. 😊
Generally speaking the Crystalsmith is a support monster, but General Sloan giving her an extra +1 Ranged attack making her a formidable damage dealer role as well. 😉
Pelacor Arbalest
The Pelacor Arbalest is the center of my backline and lineup. He makes this team ticking. He is like the Axemaster in the Water Splinter dealing 2x3 damage in every round, which is very hard to mitigate for my opponent.
He was hitting my opponent monsters so frequently that he didn't have time to fight back. 😅
Lone Boatman
The Lone Boatman is a card that is very hard not to include to any setup, because apart from the fact that he shoots for +3 Ranged thanks to its boss of General Sloan he has a very important ability, which is the Repair. (Restores some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage.)
Any extra layer of defense, such as repairing one of the monster Armor 🛡 in his team is essential to outsurvive my opponents monsters. 😎
Soul Fiend
The Soul Fiend is part of the Fiend family and without Level 4, where all of them gets an important ability, he serves his team as a bullet eater. One attack could mean a lot for any team and the Fiends will do anything to serve their purpose taking 1 or maybe two hits from the enemy monsters.
He is a must have in any team and this will be true for a very long time. 😊
In this battle the Holy Protection ruleset helps a lot if you can take the Divine Shield of indirectly from the enemy monsters. I was lucky, because my opponent brought 3 Magic attack creature, so my Pelacor Conjurer used his ability of Magic Reflect to remove the Divine Shield from them and in the second round he even killed one of them. 😉
The Pelacor Arbalest killed their fully armored tank without delay, which opened up their backline to me.
Without any damage buff from their summoner of Kelya their monsters struggled a lot to damage down my monsters. As long as their tank lived they had enough damage to kill my creatures, but after he fell the Venari Crystalsmith single handedly defeated their team. 😇
