This week I brought a Guild Brawl battle, where I will try to take advantage of the special rulesets that this battle will provide and I will use one of my favorite lineup from the Water Splinter to defeat my opponent.

Hope you will enjoy the battle like I did! 😇

RulesetDescription
Explosive WeaponryAll Monsters have the Blast ability.
Silenced SummonersSummoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
FerocityAll Monsters have the Fury ability.

The mana cap was 39, which is enough to pick few key monsters for my battle and fill up the rest of thge space with cheaper monsters. The most important ruleset was the Silenced Summoners, which means that none of the Summoners has got any abilities to to increase the stats of their monsters or to give them extra abilites. The only thing I need to watch out for is to pick my favorite Splinter and to choose the highest level Summoner for this battle. 💪

Usually I play with Yodin or the Llama, because they are overpowered in many ways, but this time thanks to the Explosive Weaponry ruleset all of the monsters received the Blast ability, so they were about to damage the monsters next to their target as well.

The Ferocity ruleset gives the Fury ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, which means that the monsters will deal double damage to their targets if they have the Taunt ability. 😇

My lineup and the decision behind it!

Summoner
Pembrook Nymph

image.png

The Pembrook Nymph cost 6 mana, which is quite a lot for a Summoner who doesn't have any abilities, but she was my highest levelled Summoner, so I had to use her if I wanted to take advantage of my higher leveled monsters. 😊

Main Tank
Sea Monster
image.png

The Sea Monster is an excellent tank from the Water Splinter, because he has quite a lot of Melee attack damage, but with a little bit slow Speed. His ability is truly makes him amazing, because he has the self Heal ability, so in every round he is able to restore some of his lost Health. 😉

Off Tank
Djinn Oshannus
image.png

The Djinn Oshannus is one of the best off tank in this game and I always like to use him in the second position of my lineup. He is well protected against the Magic attack monsters thanks to his Void ability and he has decent amount of Health as well. 😌

The Martyr
Venari Marksrat
image.png

I used the Venari Marksrat solely, because he has the Martyr ability, which means that he will increase all the stats of their adjacent monsters by one. He was destined to die quick and twice, so my team would benefit a lot from his death. 🤗

Main Damage Dealer
Phantom of the Abyss
image.png

The Phantom of the Abyss is one of the strongest damage dealer monster from the Water Splinter who has excellent Speed and dodge abilities. He also has huge amount of Magic attack and combined together with the Blast ability makes him the perfect damage dealer of all time. 💪

Low Mana cost Backline Protector
Musa Saline
image.png

The Musa Saline cost only three mana and that was my main reason choosing her. She also has one Magic attack as well, so she is a very affordable mini damage dealer who removes all the Armor from her target if she manages to hit them. 😁

Damage Reductor
Halfling Alchemist
image.png

The Halfling Alchemist cost only two mana, which is quite cheap compared to his ability. He has only one Ranged attack, but if he manages to hit his target he will halves their damage permanently until the end of the battle. 😜

My opponent brought Helios Matriarch, because she is a Dragon Summoner, so even though she doesn't have any abilities she will be able to use any of the Dragon monsters from that Splinter.

In the first round my super quick Phantom attacked first and hit their tank. The Blast damage on him killed their zero mana Fiend in the second position and when my Djinn Oshannus attacked their tank he also killed their zero mana Chicken! 😁

Luckily my Musa was quicker than their tank and when she damaged their tank she also removed all of his Armor. Katrelba attacked after her and she killed my Halfling easily with her double attack and she also boosted himself up using her Bloodlust ability.

I was very lucky to kill their Arkemis at the end of the first round by my Sea Monster, so their Katrelba fell into the first position where she died at the beginning of the second round. 😇

Only two monster remained at the enemy team and both of them was a Ranged attack monster, so it was very easy for my team to kill them quickly and to win this battle for me and for my Guild. 😇
