Overview
Today I brought a Wild battle where there was only one ruleset, which will make it important to foresee what my opponent could bring and try to counter that. π
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)
| Ruleset | Description |

| Weak Magic | Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. |
The mana cap for my next battle is 32, which is not much, but it is enough to bring few key monsters to take advantage of my opponent monsters.
The only ruleset, which will modify the battlefield will be the Weak Magic, which means that all the monsters will be able to use their armor against the incoming magic attacks, so picking a monster with high armor will be beneficial. π
My lineup
 | Thaddius Brood is an excellent Death Summoner and she is one of my favorite apart from the Untamed Summoners. Her abilities are to decrease the health and magic of all the enemy monsters by one. π |
| I picked the Will-o-Wisp as my tank even though he doesn't have any attack, because he cost only 6 mana, which is not that much, but in return he has a lot of health and the Flying ability to dodgre even more attacks. He also has the Weaken ability, which will further reduce the health of the enemy monsters by one. π€« |  |
 | The Dark Arborist cost four mana, which is nice and she is a magic attack monster. Her damage is only one, but she has the Demoralize ability, which will reduce the melee attack of the enemy monsters by one. π |
| The Broken Earth Thug cost three mana and as a melee attack monster he relies heavily on his Opportunity ability, which will allow him to attack from the back as well targeting the lowest health monster from the enemy team. π |  |
 | The Arachne Weaver cost five mana and he has two magic attack, but unfortunately he has to hit the enemy armors as well with that. π |
| The Ravenhood Warden was a must have for this battle, because he is a ranged attack monster, but more importantly he has the Protect ability, which means that he will increast all the armors on his friendly mosnters by two. πͺ |  |
 | The Cursed Windeku will be my key monster for this battle, because if I am right he will easily retaliate my opponent monsters with his Thorns ability. That ability means if a melee attack monster attacks him he will reflect two damage back to his attacker. π |
The Battle
My opponent brought Helios Matriarch, who is Dragon Summoner and she would be able to bring any Dragon monster she wants and on top of that she will be able to pick a Gladiator monster as well, which are the strongest in the game thanks to their Bloodlust ability. She also increases the speed of his monsters by one. π
In the first round all of the enemy Sneak attack monsters started to attack my Windeku and stright away he eliminated their Dhampi Infiltrator in the process. Still the most important moment was when he was able to kill their Gladiator Katrelba with his reflect ability, which removed the biggest threat from the enemy team.
The other monsters of mine managed to kill their Fungus Fiend, which used his Martyr ability to increase the stats of their Thane Newsong who was luckily a non-attack monster used as a tank, so he was not dangerous at all.
In the second round my Windeku killed their last damage delaer the Uraeus with his Thorns ability and only two non-attack monster left in their team, so my team could easily win this battle for me thanks to my Cursed Windeku. πͺ

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy and plan was to utilize the Throns ability on my Windeku, which worked very well, because if I won't bring him at the back of my backline their Katrelba would be so strong by the end of the battle that she would easily kill my Windeku in the first position.
Luckily my plan worked and my opponent Sneak attack monsters quickly killed themselves. π€
