5. Exploding Rats - Melee Damage Dealer with the Blast, Redemption and True strike abilities
6. Chaos Agent - No Damage Dealer with the Dodge, Phase Backfire abilities
Strategy:
The strategy was to make the most use of the Super Sneak Ruleset. In Little League it is not possible to lower the melee damage through multiple demoralize Monsters so it seemed pretty safe to go for a melee only team.
Position 1 - Venari Heatsmith:
You don't see this Monster very often. But in a fight where you expect a lot of melee Monsters amplified thorn damage can be a match winner.
Position 2 - Antoid Platoon:
Great tank especially in the later rounds of matches when a lot of monsters have died and the Antoid platoon scavenged a bit. That is the the reason it is on position 2. I expected 2-3 Monsters dying before it would be forced to step up to the first position.
Position 3 - Venator Kinjo:
The sheer amount of different abilities make it worth using. And with the buffed damage trough Tarsa and the ability to hit from this position because of super sneak it was an really easy choice.
Position 4 - Uraeus:
Just a great Monster with that 50% chance to poison, I've lost and won quite a few matches depending on my RNG luck on those poison procs. Can be a matchwinner against those Monsters with low HP but high Armor.
Position 5 - Exploding Rats:
Great little Monster(s) in rulesets like Super Sneak and Melee Mayhem. Super fast and so usually the first to attack, hard to hit but with True strike always hitting the target. Only 1 HP but when they die every Monster of the opponent team is hit with 1 damage, which is especially useful when they only have 1 Armor or a Divine Shield. In hindsight I would have placed them in position 4 in order to protect them from a opponent exploding rat blast strike.
Position 6 - Chaos Agent:
Placed in the back hoping it gets some dodges + backfire in, in case the opponent uses mostly melee Monsters too.
Round 1:
Really didn't expect my opponent to almost completely ignore the Super sneak ruleset. Seems like he put all his faith in Doctor Blight.
My monsters just slash through the backline and 3 opponent Monsters die in the first round. No matter how much Doctor Blight scavenges, there is no way he can survive the sheer force of my team once he is forced to the first position.
Round 2:
Two more hits, two more deaths and the only thing that keeps Doctor Blight alive is the Scavenge ability.
Round 3:
The Scavenge didn't matter much though as the Doctor Blight goes down with the first hit in this round.
Result:
Almost a perfect victory, there was just too much melee damage dished out. Most of my Monsters being faster then the opponents helped of course.
