The ruleset of the battle is as follows:
ruleset (2).png
Fog of War - Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities.
Keep your Distance - Units with melee attacks may not be used.
Weak Magic - Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
Mana Cap of 12.
Available Splinters- Fire, Life, Death and Dragon

My Team:

Summoner: Quix the Devious (-1 to Ranged, -1 to Speed)

1. Chaos Agent - No Damage Dealer with the Dodge, Phase and Backfire abilities
2. Kra'ar Xoc - No Damage Dealer with the Scavenger ability
3. Naga Assassin - Ranged Damage Dealer with the Backfire and Swiftness abilities
4. Venari Bonesmith - Magic Damage Dealer with the Life Leech, Poison and Dispel abilities

Strategy:

There are not that many strategies possible in a super low 12 mana match. I decided that to put my hopes mainly in the Backfire ability and Poison procs. With Quix lowering the opponents speed and my Naga Assassin buffing my own team with swiftness, there should be at least a decent chance for some backfire dodging.

Position 1 - Chaos Agent:

Can be a matchwinner or just die after 1 round. But it only costs 1 mana so it is a perfect little tank for this match.

Position 2 - Kra'ar Xoc:

Another 1 mana card. In case the Chaos Agent dies fast, this one should give the Naga Assassin behind it at least 1 more attack.

Position 3 - Naga Assassin:

Great 2 mana card, even when it is forced to the front and can't attack anymore. With its high speed and backfire it still is potentially lethal against melee and ranged attacks.

Position 4 - Venari Bonesmith:

4 mana for a potential of 4 damage/ round - that is if the target is poisoned and the poison is applied to a different monster every round. The Life Leech is a nice little bonus.

Round 1:

I do have the speed advantage in this match, but Doctor Blight can be a beast and now I wonder why I didn't choose that one myself. Luck is on my side this round though, both my attacking monsters hit the opponents Chaos Agent and the Venari Bonesmith even applies poison. With that the pesky Backfire ability will be gone next round. My Chaos Agent does a much better job and dodges both incoming attacks.

Round 2:

Another hard to hit monster is not in the front of my opponents team - the Pelacor Conjurer. But I manage to hit with both attacks again and my opponent continues to miss my Chaos Agent. The only difference is that there was no poison applied this round.

Round 3:

A funny round where every attacking monster on the field misses. Thanks to the Backfire ability, Doctor Blight and Dax Paragon still take some damage, bringing them to the brink of death.

Round 4:

My monster manage to hit with their attacks again and the opponents Monster actually kill themselves through the Backfire without hitting the Chaos Agent even once. Now all that is left is the Pelacor Conjurer. While being hard someone hard to hit he doesn't have the backfire ability and so all he can do is wait for a swift death.

Final Round:

The Pelacor Conjurer manages to dodge one more attack before being taken out by my Venari Bonesmith.

Result:

Man of the match is definitely the Chaos Agent. Dodging all the incoming attacks leading to a perfect victory with not even 1 damage taken. To be fair - he had a 65% chance to dodge every attack so even though it was lucky to dodge all attacks it wasn't completely unexpected.
