I totally agree with you. Novice and Bronze III can be EASILY beaten with just the basic cards you receive with the 10$ Spellbook and a bit of knowledge about the game (just a bit is enough!).
These changes are mainly focused on bots that are playing automatically just to farm rewards. Those bots profitability have to be thrown on the trashbin where they deserve.
