What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are enjoying an energetic Weekend with your Family and Friends, and also managing some time from your daily busy life to play this game and reap your growth and earnings. If you play this play2earn game on a daily basis, then you must know already that the last raked season ended just yesterday and I guess most of you have already collected your season end Glint reward tokens by now. As usual, a fresh new one has also started already so wake up if you are sleeping, comrade. Right now as speak, we have a long 14+ days in hand before this new season meets its end, so let us prepare and start pushing our trophy rating again while maintaining the battle energy bar. Now talking about me, I finished the last season in the Champion II league tier as usual. Right now, after the trophy reset, I am again back in Diamond I with a current trophy count of 3,400 exactly. This season I will try to push my trophy rating to play more time in Champion so that I can get more SPS and Glint points from ranked wins. Let’s now play and see how I perform in this season.
Moving forward, let us now take a look at the main topic of this post as today, I am going to showcase an amazing Gladius card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about ALFREDO. So, if you are interested to know about him, let's take a dive without any further ado.
ALFREDO
ALFREDO is a monster type card that falls under the special Gladiator edition cards and these types of cards can only be collected by opening Gladius packs. Now merit is the only currency with which you can buy these Gladius packs and to get merits, you have to play Brawls or get them from an in-game reward shop. Now talking about Alfredo, it is even more special because of its low 2 mana cost, which makes this card a more accessible choice for low to medium mana limit matches. This monster belongs to the Water element and it is a rare type of card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards only in order to upgrade it to max level. Its attack type is Ranged and apart from a good attack power, it also possesses high speed and good health with 3 abilities at its max level which I am going to talk about in detail below. Let us now take a deeper look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 2, this monster possesses 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 4 health and it also gets the Bloodlust ability since its initial level. With the help of Bloodlust ability, all of its stats will get increased by 1 every time it kills Down an enemy card.
SILVER
When this card reaches level 4, it receives an increased 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 5 health along with the Bloodlust ability. Though it does not get any new ability, its increased attack power will help you to kill down enemy cards faster.
GOLD
As this card gets upgraded to level 6, it gets the same 2 ranged attack power at an increased 4 speed with 5 health and it also gets a new ability called Close Range from level 5 onwards. With the help of this new ability, this monster can attack while in the first position. So, now it can attack even at the front in spite of being a range attack.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this card to its max level of 8, it possesses an increased 3 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 5 health and finally, it gets another new ability at its max level called True Strike. With the help of this ability, this card will never miss its target.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time I received a medium 38 mana limit match where only 4 elements were allowed - Fire, Water, Earth and Life and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Are You Not Entertained (You can summon one more Gladiator card), Heavy Hitters (All monsters get the Knock Out ability) and Up To Eleven (All units receive the Amplify ability).
For this match. I decided to choose a magic + range attack combo with highly defensive cards at the front, so after thinking a bit I started building my lineup accordingly. For this match, I chose the Dual Legendary Death + Water summoner Cryptic, and at the front position, I chose the Attack-less Grimbardun Smith followed by Daarg Deadbalst, Baakjira, Djinn Oshannus, Alfredo and the Igor Darkspear at my end position. While both the lineups were revealed, I saw that my opponent had chosen the Legendary Earth summoner Immortalis and at his front position, He chose the Quora Towershed followed by Fungus Fiend, Spirit Hoarder, Goblin Psychic, Doctor Blight, and Mycelic Slipspawn at the end position.
BATTLE BEGINS
As my Opponent chose Immortalis summoner, my Magic monsters got weak and only my 2 range minsters were my strong attackers. The first card that for killed was the enemy Mycelic Slipspawn at round 2 by my Oshannus, followed by the enemy Goblin Psychic who killed Down my Grimbardun Smith. Next, my Deadblast killed Down the main defense Quora at round 3, followed by the enemy Fiend who took revenge by killing the Deadblast. Then finally the Alfredo got its first kill by taking the Fiend down and increasing its stats by +1 and my Igor also killed the Spirit Hoarder down just after that at round 4. Then, all my minsters attacked and killed down the Goblin with Igor giving the final blow. The only monster that left on the opponent side was the poor Doctor who also got taken care off by my Igor again and thus, I won this match.
