What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are spending an amazing day with your friends and family and also enjoying this game in your free time. Well if you are a dedicated player, then you must know that there are only 21 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to end, so I hope you guys have already reached your goals set for this season or trying your best to do so. Now As usual, reaching the Champion League used to be my goal for every season and for this time as well I have reached my goal somehow just yesterday, and currently standing with a trophy rating of 3,740. Now, as I only have half of the energy bar, I would just play a handful of more matches while protecting my place in champ and be ready to boost my playing in the upcoming season. On the other hand, playing extensively has helped me earn a lot of Glint tokens in the past and for this ongoing one as well. And as expected, I am using to buy those newly launched Rebellion edition Reward cards and upgrading towards a max collection slowly but gradually. Let’s see what I get from using this season’s Glint points after buying Card draws.
Moving forward, let me come to the main topic. In continuation of our Rebellion Reward series, today I am Going to showcase another card of this cardset. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today we will be shading light upon the FRIGID WOLF. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
FRIGID WOLF
FRIGID WOLF is a monster type card that falls under the Rebellion edition and it was launched in the game just recently with the latest reward card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and it is one of the rarely availavle cards that cost only 1 mana to be used in battles, which means you can easily choose this card when playing even in the smallest ones and up to medium mana limit matches. This monster is a legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of card in order to upgrade it to max level. Its attack type is Melee and apart from having good stats considering its mana cost, it also comes with a new ability which I will be talking about below. Let us take a deeper look into this card’s league wise overall stats and abilities below.
BRONZE
At level 1, this card possesses only 1 melee attack power at 2 speed with 2 health and it also gets an ability called Charge at its initial level. With the help of this Charge ability, it can attack from any position and target the enemy minster placed at the front position. So you get a melee mayhem activated monster for just 1 mana that will keep attacking irrespective of its placement.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster card to level 2, it receives the same 1 melee attack power at 2 speed but with an increased 3 health. Though it does not get any new ability at level 2, the extra health may help it to withstand one more attack before going down.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded to level 3, it carries the same 1 melee attack power but with an increased 3 speed and 3 health. Sadly, it does not get any new ability at this level as well.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this card to its max level of 4, it gets the most important upgrade as its melee attack gets increased to 2 along with 3 speed and 3 health. Though it does not receive any other abilities apart from the Recharge, we are still getting an active good melee attacker for just 1 mana cost which I think is pretty enough already.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time it was the second smallest in the game, 13 mana limit match where only 4 elements were allowed to choose from - Fire, Life, Death and Dragon and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Up To Eleven (all monsters get the Amplify ability), Back To Basics ( monsters lose all their abilities) and Holy Protection (all monsters get the Divine Shield ability).
So after looking an grasping all the match rules and details, I decided to use my Dual Earth and Life legendary summoner Eternal Tofu and at the beginning place of my lineup, I chose the Soul fiend followed by Gargoya Scrapper, Frigid Wolf, Chaos Agent, Halfling Refugee and the Dax Paragon at the last position.
Anyways, when both the lineups were revealed later, I found out that my opponent had used the Death summoner Thaddius Brood and at his front position, he placed the Wily Coyotian followed by Corpse Fiend, Halfling Refugee, Chaos Agent, Life Sapper and the Xenith Archer at the last position. Now let’s see Who wins the match.
BATTLE BEGINS
As the battle began, the enemy Coyotian killed down my Soul Fiend and lost its Divine Shield from the thorns damage. Then the Coyotian again killed and this time my Scrapper and received 3 damage again. Surprisingly the Coyotian again got to kill another monster of mine at round 3, this time the poor Frigid Wolf but gladly, the 3 damage from Thorns again killed it down in return. Next, the enemy Corpse Fiend killed my chaos Agent but also got killed in return due to the Thorns' damage. By now my Halfling Refugee increased a large amount of max health due to the Scavenger ability applied to it. So together it and the Dax Paragon coupled with Amplified Thorns damage helped me to easily kill down the rest enemy cards and thus, I won another great match and won a bunch of SPS and Glint tokens again.
I hope you loved watching the battle with FRIGID WOLF and also liked reading my battle post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
I wish you all good luck with all of your future Splinterlands matches.
