What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also enjoying this beautiful strategy game in your daily free time. Well, for those of you who play this game regularly like me, I hope you guys have already noticed that we have almost come to the middle of this ranked season and right now, only around 9 days left for this current ranked season to meet its end. So, let us all fasten our seatbelts and play with our best efforts so that we can reach our goals quickly before the season ends. Now looking at my progress, so far I have come to the Diamond II tier and currently sitting at 3,240 Trophy rating and need another 160 trophies to reach the next tier Diamond I. I will try to reach the Champion League as fast as possible because we all know how bloody it becomes during the last couple of days when all the players get active and play. So, I hope I reach my goal and secure my spot so that I win the Champ III league tier reward chests and some more Glint points.

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about an amazing monster that I really love to use in my battles nowadays. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about KEI. So, if you are interested, let us take a deep dive without further ado.

KEI

KEI is a monster type card that got launched with the Rebellion edition card set and this is an airdrop type card, so it is a rare card than the normal ones. This monster belongs to the Dragon element and it costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily choose this card in your lineup while Playing medium to High mana limit matches. It is a Legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to max level. Apart from good attack power, high speed and a large health bar, this monster also possesses a whopping 5 abilities at its max level, which I am about to talk about below. Now let us take a look at its league wise stats and abilities below.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster possesses 3 melee attack at 4 speed with 6 health and it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level - Enfeeble and Reach. Now Enfeeble is a new ability that got launched with the Rebellion edition card-set and with the help of this ability, whenever this monster successfully attacks a melee card, it reduces his melee attack power by 1. On the other hand, the Reach ability will enable this card to attack even when placed at the second position of your lineup.

SILVER

When you upgrade this card to level 2, it receives the same 3 melee attack at 4 speed with an increased 7 health and also receives a new ability called Ambush with which, it can perform an attack before the start of the first round. So even at level 2, this monster becomes a powerful choice to be used in battles.

GOLD

As this card reaches level 3, it gets the same 3 melee attack at an increased 5 speed with 7 health and also gets a new ability called True Strike at this level. With the help of this ability, now this card will not miss any attack at all and will always hit its target.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this card gets upgraded to the lex level 4, it possesses an increased 4 melee attack at 5 speed with 7 health and also gets another new ability called Shatter at its max level. With this new ability, whenever this card successfully hits an enemy, that enemy’s armor will get fully broken. So, you can clearly see this is a demonic attacker with lots of perks that you can't miss having in your collection.

BATTLE STAT

While playing today, I got a unique type of match where there were all the elements except Water were allowed in this match. It was a large 47 mana limit match and also there were 3 rulesets applied in this match - Weak Magic, Might Makes Right, and Favfour and after thinking a little, I thought to use my Kei monster in this match to test out its wrath once more. For this match, my strategy was to use the Agor Longtail and the end position coupled with the Lilly Shieldpaw summoner, so that the enemy monsters get busy attacking it and in the meantime, my attackers kill the enemy monsters one by one. So, I started building my lineup accordingly.

For this match, I chose the Legendary Dragon summoner Lilly Shieldpaw and at the front position, I used the Pelacor Mercenary followed by Kei, Runemancer Florre and the Agor Longtail at the end position. When both the lineups got revealed later on, I saw that my opponent used the Legendary Dragon summoner Quix the Devious and at his front, he chose the Dumacke Orc followed by Chaos Dragon, Iziar and Night Reaper at the end position.

As the match began, as I expected, my Kei attacked the Orc even before the match started and not only did it reduce its melee attack power down to 3 but also Broke down its shield. Next, when round 1 started, it killed down the Orc but due to getting damaged back to back, its health also decreased to 4. My Florre and Longtail targeted the Iziar while my Mercenary and Kei targeted the front card Chaos Dragon and at round 3, my Longtail killed down the Iziar but then the enemy Chaos Dragon also killed down my Mercenary and also wounded my Kei down to 1 health. But then all my 3 monsters attacked the Chaos Dragon back to back and killed it easily and then, at round 5 my Kei collected one more kill by taking down the Night Reaper and thus, I won another amazing match and won some SPS and Glint points. Not to mention that the man of the match is my Kei without a doubt, thanks to his jaw-dropping performance in this one.

I hope you loved watching the match that I shared in this post and also liked reading about the match that I talked about above. Do you also like Kei and use it often in your lineup? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
