What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are enjoying the day with your loved ones, playing the game in your free time daily, and earning crypto. Well, for those who play this game seriously every day, I guess you have already started pushing your trophy count and chasing your season goal well. If we look at the season clock, only 9 days remain for this ranked season to end, so we must reach our goals within the time frame or our hard-earned trophy count will get reset. On the other hand, a new promo card named Ulfga the Blighted has recently launched in this game which is a special type of card which you can buy using only voucher tokens. I have also written a post with this monster explaining its stats and abilities and battle performance which you may check out. Now looking at my own season progress, so far I have reached Diamond II League Tier with a current trophy count of 3,300 and need another 100 trophies to reach the next Tier, Diamond I. Now that I have another 9 days left in hand, I think I can reach the Champion League before the reset but I have to play cautiously because the season end bloodbath is also coming soon.
Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another awesome Rebellion monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail that I shared above, today I will be showcasing EMBERGUARD. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
Emberguard
EMBERGUARD is a monster type card that comes under the Rebellion edition and this monster was introduced in the game with the launch of the latest edition Reward card set. This mobster belongs to the Fire element and it is a Legendary type card, so you would need a total of 11 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to max level. Its attack type is Magic and it costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this card in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. Now apart from a high magic attack power, and slow speed but with a good combo of Armour and health, this monster also comes with 3 abilities which I will be discussing later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this card’s league-wise stats and abilities to find out more below.
BRONZE
At level 1, this monster possesses only 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 7 health and it also gets the Demoralize ability since its initial level. With the help of this ability, this monster will decrease every enemy melee monster’s attack power by 1.
SILVER
When this monster gets upgraded to level 2, it gets the same status as of its previous level - 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 7 health and it also gets a new ability called Reflection Shield. With this ability, it can now ignore the damages coming from Blast, Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns. So you can easily use this monster adjacent to the first monster or monsters with Taunt ability without any tension of receiving blast damages and also against magic reflect ability monsters.
GOLD
As you upgrade this monster to level 3, it then receives an increased 3 magic attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and 7 health. But though it gets an increased firepower which will definitely help you in battles, it does not get any new abilities at this level.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, it possesses 3 magic attack power at 2 speed with 1 armour and an increased 8 health and gladly, it also receives a new ability called Dispel. With the help of this new ability, it will remove magic buffs on an enemy monster when successfully hit.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time, I received a large 99 mana limit match where there were a total 3 elements allowed to choose from - Fire, Death and Dragon and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Maneuvers (all monsters will have Reach ability in this match), Counterspell (all monsters will have Magic Reflect ability in this match) and the Equalizer (all monsters will have same health in this match and equal to the highest health monster). Now, after looking at all the rules of this battle, I started thinking about a suitable strategy and finally decided to use heavy melee attackers at the front position and then magic monsters but with Reflection shield ability, so that they don’t get wounded from the magic reflect abilities. So after thinking a bit, I finally followed this strategy and started building my lineup accordingly.
For my battle lineup, I first chose the legendary Dragon summoner Akane with Fire element cards. At the first position of my lineup, I chose Arkemis the Bear followed by Carnage Titan, Emberguard, Night Reaper, Mordeus and the Oshhur Constantia at the end position of my lineup. Later, when both the lineup was revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the legendary Death summoner Astral Entity and at his front position, he chose the same Arkemis the Bear followed by Night Ghoul, Djinn Muirat, Gargoya Devil, Queen of Crows and the Dhampir Stalker at the end position.
Now as the battle began, I used the Ambush ability from Akane to Night Realer and Carnage Titan and my Night Realer targeted and wounded the enemy Gargoya Devil but Titan missed one attack and could only break the enemy Arkemis’s armour with its other attack. Then, at round 1 the Night Realer again targeted the Gargoya and left it with only 1 health. My Emberguard targeted the Night Ghoul and decreased its health down to 7, followed by my Night Reaper who earned the first blood and killed down the Gargoya at level 2, but it got resurrected by the summoner. The enemy Djinn Muirat then killed my Arkemis and it also got resurrected by my Constantia. Then, the Queen of Crows finally killed my Arkemis, followed by my Night Realer who killed down the Gargoya finally. Next, my Constantia killed the Night Ghoul in round 3, followed by my Emberguard who killed the enemy Arkemis in round 3. Then the Djinn Muirat killed my Titan at round 4, followed by my Emberguard who again killed down an enemy, this time the Djinn Muirat. After that, my Constantia killed the Queen of Crows and at this point, the only enemy monster left was the poor Dhampir Stalker which I also took care of quickly with my Night Reaper and thus, I won another thrilling match.

A really nice card and one of my very first rebellion legendary soulbound cards I earned. If you know how to use the synergies with the fire deck, you have a clear win😎.
