What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
Happy Year End friends and I wish you all a very happy new year in Advance! I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the vibe with your family and friends. Now, for those of you who play splinterlands like me, I guess we all are pretty lucky because the last splinterlands ranked season ended only a couple of hours ago and now we can fully enjoy the New Year Celebration without compromising our in-game progress. A brand new fresh season has started already and looking at the season clock, we have almost 15 days to play, earn, grow and reach our goals. But don't forget to use your battle energies before going out for the party or you will miss out on some juicy SPS and Glint points. Now talking about my last Season's performance, gladly I reached my goal by entering the Champion League and after the season reset I played a few more matches and right now sitting at the Diamond I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,120. Now having another 2 weeks in hand, I will be restarting my journey again with the same goal while focusing on earning more Glints points and let’s see how it goes.
Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another amazing Rebellion card with you all and as you have already guessed, today I will be talking about THANALORIAN BLADE with you all. So, if you are interested, let’s take a deep dive into it without any further ado.
THANALORIAN BLADE
THANALORIAN BLADE is a monster type card which got introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Reward card set and this card comes under the Rebellion edition. This furious looking monster belongs to the Earth element and its attack type is Melee. It costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so you may select this card in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. It is an Epic type card, so it will require a total of 46 BCXs of cards to be upgraded to the max level. Now, apart from a good melee attack power at decent with a good combo of armour and health, this card also comes with a whopping 4 abilities which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into its league-wise stats and abilities to find out more about this card.
BRONZE
At level 2, this monster card possesses 2 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 5 health and it also carries 2 abilities. The first ability is Opportunity which it gets since its initial level and with the help of this ability, this monster will target the enemy card with the lowest health if you place this monster at a backline position. The other ability is called Execute which it receives at level 2 and due to this ability, if the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, it performs another attack against the same unit.
SILVER
When this mobster gets upgraded to level 3, it receives the same stats as of its previous level - 2 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 5 health. But it does get a new ability at this level called Lookout with which, its adjacent units will take 1 less damage from sneak, opportunity or snipe attacks and also reduces all enemy ambush attacks by 50% (rounded down).
GOLD
As you successfully upgrade this card to level 5, it gets an increased stats of 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 6 health but no new abilities. But thanks to its increased attack power, now you can take down enemy cards faster.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 6, it possesses a further increased set of stats with a whooping 4 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability called Trample with which, each time it kills down an enemy card, it will perform one more attack on the enemy unit in the next position.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time I received a high 44 mana limit match where there were 4 elements allowed in this match - Water, Earth, Life and Death. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this battle - Lost Magic (no magic monsters can be used in this battle), Close Range (ranged monster can attack from first position) and Aim True (all monsters get the True Strike ability). As we can not use any magic monsters in this match, I started to think of an effective lineup and decided to use a mix of melee and range attackers for the job while defending my front position with a good tank card. So as thought, I started building my lineup accordingly.
For this match, first of all, I chose my favourite dual legendary summoner Eternal Tofu and at the front position of my lineup, I chose the Grimbardun Smith followed by Bramble Pixie, Halaran Huntress, Thanalorian Blade, pelacor Arbalest and the Supply Runner at the end position of my lineup. Anyway, when both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Water summoner Kelya Frendul and at his front position, he chose the Diemonshark followed by Flying Squid, Baakjira, Deeplurker, Supply Runner and the Swamp Spitter at the end position.
As the battle began, all the enemy monsters started attacking my Smith and the Deeplurker targeted my Pelacor Arbalest and while attacking it also applied Poison on my Arbalest. My monsters started attacking the enemy Diemonshark on the other hand and my Blade also attacked it and wounded it down to only 1 health. But the Diemonshark retaliated and broke its armour but that was a mistake, because the Thorn on my Blade damaged it back and killed it down, though before dying it wounded my Blade’s health down to 3. In the second round, however, the enemy Deeplurker killed down my wounded Blade but also got Thorned back, followed by my Arbalest which killed down the Flying Squid. Next, the Deeplurker again attacked at round 3 and killed down my Smith this time but got Thorned back and lost its armour and then in round 4, I was successful in killing down the heavy enemy defence card Baajkira with my Huntress and next, my Arbalest finally killed down the devil Deeplurker. Then, the Swamp Spitter killed my Bramble at round 5 but soon after, I also killed down the Arbalest and then the last enemy card Swamp Spitter with my Arbalest and thus, I won another awesome match!
I hope you loved watching the Splinterlands battle with THANALORIAN BLADE that I shared above and also liked reading my battle post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
I wish you all good luck with all of your future Splinterlands matches.
