Splinterlands | These monsters will increase max health of your whole Lineup

in Splinterlands2 months ago (edited)

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and enjoying this awesome game in your daily free time. If you are a daily player like me and keep an eye on this game’s activities, then you probably have seen the new update where they have re-introduced the reward chests back in the game. I am really very happy with this decision because I really used to miss the thrill in the old days of opening reward chests every day while hoping to get anything out of them. Now though we are not getting daily reward chests and instead, this new reward mechanism is called League Tier Advancement Chests where each time a player reaches the next tier, he/she will receive a reward chest and obviously, the higher the league tier the better will be the chests. These reward chests will be given out only for the first time anyone reaches a tier, so don't think you can lose some trophies and reach there again to get one more. There will be different types of chests such as - Minor, Major and Ultimate chests based on the level of your tier and this new update will definitely help players to earn more cards and other in-game rewards.

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking again about Rebellion Reward cards. In my previous post, I discussed about 2 new monsters with Taunt ability and today, let’s take a peek at 2 other new monsters with Strengthen ability. If you have been playing this game for a while, you already know about the strengthen ability. This ability increases all friendly minster’s max health by +1 and using multiple monsters with this ability stacks up and increases the max health even more. This type of monster is very helpful in defending your lineup for long-running matches and in today’s post, I will be showcasing 2 mobsters from the latest Rebellion Reward card-set that possess this ability. So if you are interested, let’s take a jump right in without any further ado.

Thunderhoof Nomad

The first card that I would like to mention here is Thunderhoof Nomad and as I said above, this is a monster card that was just introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Rebellion edition reward card set. This monster belongs to the Earth Element and its attack type is magic. This monster costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this card in your lineup while playing small to medium mana limit matches or the ones with the Little League ruleset. It is a Rare type of card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to the maximum level. Though its stats are decent considering its mana cost, it possesses some amazing abilities that make this monster very powerful.

At level 1, this monster only possesses 1 magic attack at 2 speed with 2 health and also gets the Reflection Shield since its initial level. This ability will save her from the damages coming from Blast, Thorns, Magic Reflect and Return Fire. Anyway, as you continue upgrading this card, it receives The Strengthen ability at level 4 and when it finally reaches its max level, it gets 2 magic attack at 3 speed with 4 health and also gets another ability called Triage. With this new ability, it can now heal one friendly backline wounded monster every round. As we can see, it comes with defensive Abilities like Strengthen and Reflection Shield and also has Healing abilities, so this monster will be very useful in certain matches.

Ujurak Elder

The next monster that I would like to talk about here is Ujurak Elder and this monster also got released with the latest reward card set and can be earned from reward chests or Card draws. This monster belongs to the Neutral element so you can use this monster with any element of your choice, of course, if allowed by the Match rulesets. This monster also costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup while playing small to medium mana limit matches or with the Little League ruleset. Its attack type is magic and though it possesses only 1 magic attack even at its max level, it does come with some Jaw-dropping abilities which you can't miss at all. It is a common type card, so you will need a total of 400 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to the maximum level.

At level 1, this card gets 1 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 health and also receives the Camouflage ability since its initial level. Due to this ability, no enemy card will attack this card directly until it is in the first place. But though at its first level, this card looks so weak, as you continue to upgrade this card, it gets the Divine Shield ability at level 3, the Strengthen ability at level 5 and finally when you upgrade this card to its max level 10, it gets the same 1 magic attack but at 3 speed with 3 health and also gets a new ability called Swift. Now, while the Divine Shield ability will neutralize the first attack on this card, the Swift ability will increase every friendly monster’s speed by +1. So as you can see, though this is not a very good attacker, it brings so much to your entire lineup and makes it more powerful and defensive. So don’t think it is an average card at all.

I hope you liked reading my post and also loved these 2 monsters that I talked about above. Let me know which one you will be upgrading first among these 2 in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.

I love the strengthen ability. nice boost to the whole team.

I will be pgrading Ujurak Elder first because that one does not have strengthen yet in my case. Got Thunderhoof Nomad already to level 4 where it gets strengthen.

Wow, you are growing your collection well Beaker, now upgrade that Ujurak ASAP!

These cards are really good to have. Sadly I am focusing on leveling up my Epic reward cards first. When I get to Gold level epic cards, I might have to snipe these cards next. Thanks for the post!

Yes these are great monsters and I am trying to level them up as fast as I can beyond buying them off the market :)
