My Latest Gladius Case Openings

in Splinterlands6 days ago

I got enough Merit to buy 11 cases. With that I was able to pull some decent rewards. In total I earned 15 rares, 2 epics and a common gold foil. I consider it a successful case opening with pulling all the cards seen.

With that I move ahead with overall card collection points.

In the realm of in playing battles I noticed some really neat updates.

Now when we face opponents we are able to see all their rating and collection power. Higher numbers we know for sure they are much better than me and I am prepared to be crushed. Yet I do not waiver and try my best, which makes it a lot more fun in battles that I do come out on top.

In the latest news on Discord I also noticed some new updates that peaked my interest.

I read minimum rental is now at 1 DEC. This is a huge change being implemented in my opinion. The amount of cards I have out for rent is more than what I yield daily. Therefore I will at least be pulling in more DEC if in fact my cards remain rented. Drawback is the rentals fall in quantity due to prices but we need to see how this plays out. I am hopeful this will help raise rental incomes.

Another update that stood out to me is the removal of bots in modern ranked play. This is interesting as I have found in prior seasons more difficult to move up in rank. I have to believe bots were involved in making the seasons more challenging.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

Oh, I didn't know it would show your opponents rating and collection power. I guess you can use that to guage whether or not you should play a stronger lineup.

As for the rental minimum, it makes me wonder if that will be good or not. I guess it would also reduce the people who want a weaker deck to get rewards. I think the 0.1 DEC or whatever it was before allowed for people to rent out weaker decks.
