A few days back the last Rebellion packs in game were sold out. Not all packs were sold but the expiration of the packs got hit and now one can only buy Rebellion packs through third party exchanges. This limits the overall set of cards in circulation and thinking supply and demand equation this maybe a good thing.
I am now thinking its time to really drop the hammer and start building a Rebellion collection because very soon once the new set arrives then Chaos will be shifted to Wild battles and I am further behind in the game. I have not gotten a single Rebellion card so I stand to fall out of the competition with only legacy cards.
There lies an dilemma I have with the game. I may not want to part way with the game but due to my lack of spending it will handicap me from playing in the future. That in turn would mean I can only earn passively. On the other hand I could play in wild and earn there but it will mean I am stuck in the past more or less.
Furthermore I fear I will lose my edge in guild brawls as the chaos likely will fall into legacy set. This means most likely brawls with legacy cards will mix with all the cards up to Chaos. For those who have played long enough they are aware that Chaos is the most circulated series of cards in the entire Splinterlands community. The set will out duel a lot of the legacy cards.
With all that being said I went on a buying spree and snagged as many Guild cases that I could and pulled out multiple Gladius cards.
I am now able to level up some Gladius cards to stay as competitive as I can without burning holes in my wallet.
I now have a level 6 Ajax.
A level 5 Alfredo.
A Relenor level 6!
Finally a Xulax level 2.
Overall I was happy with the pulls and able to keep continue to grow my collection. All be its on Gladius series I still can use them in specific rule set battles and brawls. I hope to steadily continue to grow my collection.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!
I have plenty of other cards for rent! Just go on peakmonsters and check out the market place and if you are curious what I offer here is a link:
No worries, the master will flood again with another set, corroding once more the value of our collections...
Oh, it finally sold out. I think it was bound to do so since they were burning packs and it makes me wonder when the next set is released. It would mean Chaos Legion moving out of modern and make my deck weaker too.
