RULESETS & MANA CAP
- Equal Oppurtunity : All monster have the opportunity ability
- Mana cap : 27
In this high mana pool battle, usually i go for life deck due to high damage dealer. However, tank in life is not very sustainable, and not to mentioned that since all enemy have opportunity ability, they can easily kill my damage dealer and destroy my line up. One thing i had speculated is that enemy will use a lot of melee attack.
MY LINEUP
Card | Lvl | Mana | Element | Type | Attack | Speed | Armor | Health | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
S | Kelya Frendul | 1 | 4 | Water | - | - | - | - | - |
1 | Cruel Sethropod | 1 | 3 | Water | Melee | 1 | 1 | 3 | 4 |
2 | Hardy Stonefish | 1 | 1 | Water | Melee | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
3 | Serpent of Eld | 1 | 7 | Water | Melee | 3 | 4 | 2 | 5 |
4 | Disintegrator | 1 | 7 | Water | Melee/SUpport | 2 | 1 | 2 | 5 |
5 | Venari Wavesmith | 1 | 5 | Water | Magic/Support | 1 | 2 | 0 | 3 |
The theory behind my lineup :
- Kelya Frendul (s) gives +1 armor & +1 speed, this strategy able to be offensive & defensive at the same time. Armor able to protect my low health monster, while speed able to make me attack first
- I’ speculating that my enemy going to have a lot of melee attack, hence Disintegrator is chosen due to -1 enemy attack ability
- Cruel Sethropod work as a cheap tank. Due to this i am able to have Serpent of Eld, Venari Wavesmith & Disintegrator. In which a very costly mana monster
- Hardy Stonefish work as sacrificial monster, since it only have 1 health and the rule set is equal opportunity, hence enemy will aim for this monster first
OPPONENT'S LINEUP
Card | Lvl | Mana | Element | Type | Attack | Speed | Armor | Health | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
S | Tarsa | 1 | 4 | Fire | - | - | - | - | - |
1 | Living Lava | 1 | 7 | Fire | Melee | 4 | 1 | 2 | 7 |
2 | Antoid Platoon | 1 | 4 | Fire | Melee | 2 | 1 | 2 | 4 |
3 | Kobold Bruiser | 1 | 3 | Fire | Melee | 3 | 2 | 0 | 4 |
4 | Xenith Monk | 1 | 4 | Fire | Melee | 2 | 3 | 0 | 7 |
5 | Tenyii Striker | 1 | 5 | Fire | Melee | 3 | 2 | 0 | 7 |
Comparison between my lineup and my enemy’s lineup :
- Amount of monsters, I have 5 monsters and my enemy has 5 monsters.
- Amount of buff, I have 1 and he has 0 (1 shield givers).
- Amount of Legendaries is 0 (eventhough not a winning factor, but still..).
- Amount of potential attack points, I can only deal 8 attacks, while he has the potential to hit 14 attack points.
Based on those points, I was concern that i am going to win this battle because my enemy have more attack points
The Battle
Round 1
Notice that my enemy attacks on Hardy Stonefish, but still manages to take 1 more hit, and my monster attack emphasize on Antoid Platoon which still can tank 2 HP.
Round 2
Antoid Platoon and Hardy Stonefish had died. My Venari Wavesmithis being aimed, but notice how i had managed to give dozen of blows to Koboild Bruiser that make it only left with 1 HP. Cruel Sethropod still manage to tank despite having to face off with Living Lava that have 3 damage. This is why this card is underrated, it is a cheap and resilient tank.
Round 3
Venari Wavesmith and Kobold Bruiser had died. Cruel Sethropod have only left with 1 HP.
Round 4
Now Living lav had to face off with Serpent of Eld, since Cruel Sethropod finally got beaten down. I am sure that my enemy will miss it’s attack. Due to serpent of eld high speed and dodge ability.
Round 5
Living Lava left with only 2 HP while my monster had full HP, this is due to armor.
Round 6
Serpent of Eld only got hit by -1 HP yuppp speed of 5 and dodge, makes this card very agile.
Round 7
Now my enemy monster had died, it is 2 against one. But my monster’s health is few while my enemy have full health. So this is a battle of luck, if my serpent of eld manages to dodge, then i won.
Round 8
Round 9
MVP of this match are Cruel Sethropod for tanking so much in the first match, and Serpent of Eld for its dodging.
