I don't know of a way to get the Spellbook for free. The best you can do is keep posting on Hive and earning some Hive that you can exchange for currency to buy the spellbook. I think you have to buy a Spellbook to get out of novice and you will not earn any rewards until you are out of novice. You will be able to earn a few cards once you have a spellbook, but it will be very slow. You will need to rent a few cards to start winning more. Another thing to do is to enter the contest that people sponsor on www.splintertalk.io @luizeba has some pretty good ones and he gives away cards also @lorddiablo has contest that gives cards. I won a card from @lorddiablo this week. Also, if you buy the Spellbook. use my link https://splinterlands.com?ref=methodofmad and I will delegate you some decent cards for a while. Thanks. It is what I have pretty much thought of before but this confirms my previous beliefs. Thanks for the resources as well and offer for delegation. Will take the referral when I get enough funds.
