So at least once a day - if you're lucky - you have that superior Splinterlands battle that just documents exactly what your intent was all along.
I had that Speed-Kill Battle today, not the first one... more like the last one. Though I usually have to have a few battles more to see if I can ride that wave of success. Isn't that emotional rollercoaster exactly what Las Vegas was built upon? no matter, in NFT-based Blockchain gaming I win by playing and investing. Period.
First off, Here is the opening line-up:

The opponent is a level 6 summoner like myself, but his monsters are - though good in themselves - not fit for a Blast Battle.
Now... I cleared the battlefield. Completely. My opponent did not survive the second round... and mind you, this was a 36 mana battle with loads of big cards. I mean; Look at the speed at the start:

As you can see from the last scene of the battle, it looks like I photoshopped the opponent off the battlefield... I didn't, but go check it out for yourself 😉

If you missed the battle link, here it is: When Speed Kills
For new players:
If by any chance you haven't tried Splinterlands yet, please do go and use my Splinterlands referral link. It's free for you and beneficial for me 🙏 Oh, and you risk making SPS (Splintershards) that sells for fiat money on exchanges, if not directly then at least via other cryptocurrencies.
Speed is so essentiell. It can be such a big advantage to be the faster one! Especially in blast battles. I really love those battles - especially with the water splinter it works amazing.
I had a very similar battle: Check it out
Have an amazing day!
