Hello amazing people on Splinterlands, how are you all?

So lets go ahead and see the battles I got for you guys in this week and some behind the scene talks that was going on my mind while choosing the lineup and battle.

Battle - 1: Taking Benefit From the Opponent

Battle Link

Ruleset: Equalizer

  • The initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit on either team with the highest base health.
  • Buffs and debuffs are done afterward, which impacts base health.

This ruleset is interesting and fun to play. Whenever I get to play with this one, I pick the low mana monsters to get in more monsters regardless of their health. Picking TARSA or OBSIDIAN fulfills the need for attack stats.

Even the monsters I had picked, all had one health, only one with three. But when the battle began, all my monsters were packed with ten health due to my opponent's highest health, hehe.

Evben though it was an intense fight, but I got the victory as my strategy worked well.

Battle - 2: U-Turn

Battle Link

Ruleset: Standard

  • No change to standard gameplay rules or mechanics.

Standard gameplay, no extra rules to apply. Even though we got the same summoner and the same tank, it got an intense one, we were planning on the same route, these are really interesting.

Just because he placed the ranged monster ahead of the last melee, I got saved by an inch. I that0 ranged monster was at the end, it would have been a dead-end for me. So it is always ideal to place the ranged to the back of all monsters unless it has close-range ability.

Battle - 3: Rules Are Rules

Battle Link

Ruleset: Earthquake

  • All nonflying and snared units take 2 physical damage at the end of each round.
  • Snared units are considered non-flying. Since the damage given is physical, it can be reduced to 1 if the unit has the shield ability.

Here, the opponent came up with a good strategy and took away my health, and my magic and thorn monster was dealing damage back to my melee monsters as well. But, he got caught by the ruleset itself.

Non-melee monster takes 2 damage each round, so without flying all his monsters would die by the end of the third round except one even if I don't make any damage. So in these rulesets, I pick the summoner with which I have the most beneficial monsters available. Kept the flying filter on, and picked all of them I could so that I could avoid the extra damage, and that's what rewartdeded me the victory.
