I think a lot of people would get hurt / lose value if scenario #2 played out so the human side of me prefers Scenario #1 as well but the opportunistic capitalist pig in me is hoping for sustained selling pressure down to the $1/1000DEC peg lol.
At that level I think you can buy DEC and even if it goes to $.75/1000DEC you'd make so much SPS back in the process with the liquidity pool that it wouldn't matter.
I know @bravetofu did an article on this as well and his conclusion was to buy SPS if you want / need SPS and I mostly agree with that if you have to buy RIGHT NOW.
My article is more talking about a short term trade IF DEC over extends itself by selling off too quickly with over 100 days left in the airdrop.
I wonder what his sensitivity data / table would say if you were able to buy DEC for $1/1000 with 100 days left in the airdrop and where you would end up compared to a final price of $0.75/1000, $0.50/1000 and so on.
If DEC keeps falling, at some point it has to be close to just printing money where even if DEC went to $0.00/1000 in the end, the SPS gained would still out value a 100% loss, to bad I'm not that great at math or I'd figure out when that point is!
Sorry, your reply got my brain rolling on this idea again lol
I love the fact there are several options (tokenomics) we can discuss and they all have merit/opportunity. A testament to the developers and vision of the founders.
Absolutely agree with you. The "economic game" is just as fascinating as the card game. And it's all going to get exponentially more interesting with validator nodes and later with land.
