How To Us The Promote Feature On Splintertalk
SPT has multiple use-cases with the first being a blog token that gives influence to those who stake it. The second is it can be used to trade for exclusive collectors NFT's located on the Splintertalk.io front-end. But the use-case that is widely looked over is the ability to use SPT to promote your Splintertalk.io blog posts. I know, I bet you didn't consider such an action before this did you. Lets go over the easy steps to do such a thing. First you will need to be posting your content within the Splintertalk.io front-end. After you create your post and decided to hit that publish button the next action you need to take is to visit your newly created post. Next up you need to click the three dot icon located near your vote options. Once you do so a drop-down menu will display that will display the following options: (1) Edit (2) Reblog (3) Promote. Next up you will need to click the promote icon. Doing so displays a new menu that will give you the option to use your liquid SPT to promote your newly created blog. You can also promote the blogs of others. The higher the amount of SPT you use to promote the further up the promote list your created post will be displayed. The SPT you use to promote will be burned (placed out of circluation). So not only are you promoting your work you are also helping to reduce the amount of SPT. As everyone knows the less of something available usually has a direct impact on its trade value. Did you take these actions? A good way to reduce the supply of tokens in circulation.
I've noticed the promote options before, but I haven't used them myself.
I think I have used on on Ecency with Ecency points before, but not 100% sure.
