This Splinterlands Guide explains Aim True Ruleset. It is very simple, all monsters always hit the target. How to build your team? What is the best lineup? Which monsters become more powerful? I am going to explain you basic strategy.
Aim True Ruleset - how does it work?
Melee, Magic and Ranged attacks always hit their target. Even if you close your eyes as man on the picture below :) Attack hit target in 100%, it works if you are Blind or your opponent has Flying, Dodge,Phase ability or Speed advantage.
In standard Ruleset, melee and ranged attacks have a miss chance. It is caclulated based on the difference between Speed. A slower melee or ranged monster attacking a faster monster has a 10% miss chance for each difference in speed.
If a slower monster with 1 Speed is attacking a faster monster with 6 Speed, the miss chance is calculated as follows: (6-1)x10%=50%.
Magic attacks always hit your opponent if he/she doesn't have Phase ability.
Miss chance in standard Ruleset:
- Dodge has 25% miss chance,
- Flying has 25% miss chance, if the attacking monster is not flying,
- Blindness has 15% miss chance but Blindness doesn’t stack with itself,
- Phase - Magic attack can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks),
- It is possible for one monster to have a 100% miss chance against another monster.
Remember! Under the Aim True Ruleset, ALL attacks always hit the target. That means Speed or abilities doesn't increase hit chance.
Tips and Tricks
- In this Ruleset your monster cannot miss.
- Choose monster that have high amount of attack.
- Slow monsters with 1 Speed and Blind always hit the target, even if your opponent has 20 Speed, Dodge, Phase and Flying.
- When every attack hit in 100%, you want make massive damage.
- Use other abilities like STUN, it has 50% chance to be activeted when hit target. In this case you always hit your enemy, so probability increase.
- Thorns and Retaliate abilities can be activated more often, as your monster get hit all the times.
- Choose higher speed or higher health combined with high damage. Kill your enemy before you get killed!
- Piercing always hit your opponent. Most monsters with this ability are slow. Now it's time to shine.
- Return Fire ability is useful in this Ruleset.
These cards are more stronger in Aim True Ruleset.
My strategy and lineup
The Ruleset of the battle is as follow:
- Aim True - Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.
- Healed Out - All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.
- Mana Cap of 14.
- Available Splinters - Fire, Water, Death and Dragon.
Battle explained
I am going to use my STUN monster to increase probability to activate this amazing ability. Xenith Monk is my tank, he has Void and Magic Reflect ability. As a result should survive longer in this Ruleset. In addition I choose Kelya Summoner which gives +1 Armor and 1+ Speed. My goal was to keep my front line as lon as possible. That's why I used two meat shield monsters on the second and third position. All of them have +1 Armor. My backline monsters are key to the win the battle.
Round 2
One monster was defeated very quickly. You can see that my opponent tank is STUNNED. As a result he is unable to attack. This gives me more time to attack from the back. My tank can survive longer if gets hit by only one monster with Reach ability.
Round 3
This is another round with STUN ability activated. My startage works preety good. My tank has more HP than my opponent. Even though that Antoid Platoon has Shield ability. Last two Range attacks and tank should be down.
Round 4
My opponent has only one monster left on the battlefield. I still have all monsters. In this round STUN hit again. As a result it is very easy to kill his last moster which can make any damage. Chaos Agent doesn't have attack, so it is only matter of time to finish the battle.
Round 5
This is last round. In this round I STUN was activated 5th times in a row. Thank you for the battle. The game is over.
Win Rate using my line up in Aim True Ruleset
I checked my Win Rate on splintertools website. It shows 100% chance to win the battle using my strategy. You can use this tool to change your line up or use different cards or summoners. When your team is ready you need to press "Predict" button and get the results.
