A New Milestone for My Splinterlands Gladiator Collection

Getting Better.png

After years of dedication, my Splinterlands Gladiator Card collection is finally starting to show its true potential, as some key cards are reaching their maximum level. The grind has been long and steady, but the rewards are becoming evident with the latest addition to my maxed-out lineup: Orella Abadon from the Fire Splinter.

Why Orella Abadon Stands Out

Orella Abadon has been a staple in many of my battles due to his low mana cost and versatility. His Sneak ability makes him an excellent choice for targeting enemy backlines, especially when paired with other cards in the Fire Splinter that excel in sneak strategies.

The true power of Orella lies in his adaptability. With the introduction of the new Soulbound Summoners, the crossover potential between Splinters has expanded significantly. This has allowed me to pair Orella’s sneak ability with complementary cards from the Death Splinter, creating new synergies and strategies. His maxed-out stats now make him even more formidable, ensuring he’ll be a key card in my battles moving forward.

The Grind to Max Out Gladiators

Reaching this milestone has been a long road. Gladiator cards can only be earned through participation in Guild Brawls, which means the process of leveling them up is inherently slow and competitive. It’s taken years of consistent effort, pack openings, and strategic gameplay to get cards like Orella Abadon to their full potential.

This achievement has me reflecting on the future of Gladiator cards. Will Splinterlands introduce a new wave of Gladiators? The current set has certainly stood the test of time, but adding new cards could shake up the Guild and Brawl meta. At the same time, the longevity of the current Gladiators presents a challenge for newer players who may struggle to compete without maxed cards. It’s a delicate balance that will be interesting to watch unfold.

Looking Ahead

As my Gladiator collection continues to improve, I’m excited about the possibilities it opens up for Guild Brawls and other battles. Orella Abadon’s maxed-out abilities will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in my strategies, and I’m already looking ahead to the next cards I hope to level up.

For players just starting their Gladiator grind: don’t lose hope. The journey is long, but the payoff is worth it. Each maxed card feels like a major achievement, and the impact they bring to battles is undeniable.

Here’s to the continued evolution of the Gladiator meta and the exciting possibilities it holds for both seasoned players and newcomers alike. Let the battles continue!

Sort:

My only Gladius card that is maxed is Ajax Lightfoot. It's funny that all my rares are at level 7, with all except one very close to max level. Meanwhile I don't even have any common at level 9, although some are close. It's going to be more difficult to max commons than rares.

That last level is brutal for Commons!
