Hey everyone! I hope you're doing great, it's kinda busy in the world of Praetoria don't you think? I have so much to do it's starting to look like a job! 😂
This is the first round of new challenges after another big update, and it's a very important one I might add, finally we have arrived at Land 1.75, meaning three new resources are added, Wood, Stone and Iron and Grain can now only be produced on the appropriate terrains so that will reduce the supply significantly in the future!
Because the maintenance window was in the way of my playing time, just as every single time 🙃 I only had time that evening to rush in my Brawl battles for multiple accounts, play my ranked battles to drain enough energy so I don't waste energy when I can help it, I only had time to do the additional Splinterlands things like managing my land plots today, Thursday morning so I logged in to see I had sold the common plot of land I had for sale in a region I only had 1 plot in... back then I bought it for $14 just to get the 'Warden' title with the 5% boost on ranked play, I now have more plots in the same region so I no longer needed this one and I even sold it with a $6 profit I immediately used to buy two common totems with to boost my land plots.
This plot I had for sale was already for sale like two or three weeks, I don't think it's coincidence people are shopping right after Land 1.75 goes live, fomo is kicking in and people are getting excited!
So, now I have a total of six land plots in two regions, two are producing grain, two are being repurposed to fit the terrain type to either produce stone or iron, one is somewhat live, with 1 legendary dragon working to clear the land and one is still offline because I need more DEC to get those two last plots fully active.
I want to buy more land plots first and work to get them online later because I don't think the current prices will last forever once people see what the potential is and how land and it's resources is being integrated in more parts of the game.
On top of that, there's a new voucher promo card launched as well, and while I wasn't as lucky as my friend @cherokee4life who bought ONE copy and pulled a gold foil! (congrats again mate!) I bought five copies to combine them in to a level two, so it would have the Phase ability, together with its speed this is an awesome card for magic only battles, especially once Chaos Legion rotates out and we lose Oshannus and Void Dragon as the main magic tanks.

This weeks Social Media Challenge
Okay, enough rambling about these new changes, I could go on for a while but it's time for the main topic of this post, this weeks Social Media Challenge is the same as last weeks:

And well.. there's always enough going on and when you battle every day with two accounts and sometimes with three more alt accounts as well... yeah you get the picture - enough cool things to write about! 😄

Every splinter has it's own cool things, I like water the most in the current Chaos Legion meta in Gold and low Diamond, speed is very important. Life is also cool for it's survivability but I like Death more now it has a healer - you can do what the Death team does best, nerf the other team and sustain your own team with corrupted healing, the Arachne Weaver is such a great card to have!
So for this weeks post, I want to share a battle where I did just this and it worked perfectly - in a Super Sneak battle where there was a good chance my opponent would use a melee heavy team I planned to use three abilities to stack and combine: demoralize, shield and corrupted healing...
First look at the battlefield:
LOL, a Team Rocket member, I've been a Pokemon Go player for four years 😁 Immortalis teams are pretty nasty but I was right in the focus for melee, cool because now I can see if my strategy works the way I planned it! He has some nasty cards though, max Arkemis, but my Harklaw is immune for the halving so that's really nice, the massive damage Drybone Raider does is nerfed to.. nothing 😂
Let's see how this goes!
My Line-Up:
- Summoner: Quix the Devious - reason: Speed management and I needed more units with shield.
- First position: Arkemis the Bear - reason: Awesome card at max level.
- Second position: Carnage Titan - reason: Heavy damage double striker with shield.
- Third position: Arachne Weaver - reason: Corrupted Heal is awesome!
- Fourth position: Disintegrator - reason: Demoralize. (1)
- Fifth position: Legionnaire Alvar - reason: Demoralize. (2)
- Sixth position: Harklaw - reason: Immunity, shield and demoralize (3).
I was very eager to watch what this TRIPLE demoralize was going to do! 😃
The Battle:
Round 1: Well the enemy damage isn't 0 but it's getting close! The Drybone Raider is doing FOUR attacks of... no damage! 🤣 Hopefully it's enough nerfing to allow the Weaver to heal my team, and yes it's corrupted healing but it's healing the entire team, back to front -1 HP every turn isn't a lot.
Round 2: There is one drawback to all this healing, my Arkemis is losing his enrage every turn. 😆
Round 3: It's slow going because I needed to get trough the Mycelic Infantry first, it's killed now so things will be faster now, the Infantry was also the only dangerous card doing a lot of damage.
Round 4: Slowly but surely I'm eating trough the other team, great to see my strategy worked so well, even with 1 demoralize countered by the enemy inspire.
Round 5: Pelacor Mercenary is a tough one, self healing, fast with flying and retaliate.. but soon he will earn the attention of my full team, they're a little slow but he can't survive that.
Round 6: Yeah, because of the difference in speed and the flying the Mercenary lives another round, can't escape your fate dude!!
Round 7: Arkemis finished him off, funny how a card is able to retaliate with 0 HP... 😆
It's a win! A nice batch of Glint, and 'only' 4.4 SPS because my SPS rental was expired again.. 😏 some day, I won't need to rent anymore!
I have a nice bad of over 100k SPS myself but it's not enough to run two high level accounts, much will change with Conclave Arcana though.
