@bcarolan639 had an interesting idea... it was a long post, so I'll paraphrase the idea:
If SPS holders with SPT tokens chose to delegate SPT tokens to the SPS.DAO account, the SPS DAO might choose to use the stake for curation and governance, and they might be able to find some funding that way, while possibly improving the situation for SPT token holders as well.
I haven't spent much time looking at SPT and its DAO, so I don't have a comment on whether it is even feasible or not. But it sounds like an interesting concept. Maybe we can get some more thoughts on this...
