I am a friend Splinter who have played the game for many years now. I was not too good in strategy from the start, so I have learned a great deal of tricks reviewing player in the higher league of combat.
It is not my goals to force the players to select or rent the same type of cards you will find in the details of the following battle, but I want the players to see behind the highly costed cards and see the strategy and the combination of abilities and the role they play in the success of your mission in the arena.
On this note, I will start the article with the legendary cards that will be the center of my presentation in the following lines.
Ulfga the Blighted has not been seen on the battleground for some time now. Here is one battle where you can see the value of the ability unlock when Ulfga is fighting the best cards in the game.
Rules Of engagement in the arena
Knock out on all the units applies double damage if the target is stunned
Only Units with even mana cost
Magic and range warriors have Snipe
Mana-cap battle: 35
It was a serious battle where many abilities were present to support each team claims to the victory at the end of the final round.
I was looking at the side of the board who will select a warrior with stun ability but to my surprise there was none.
The combat started with the application of all the abilities present in the arena, and the status of the cards on the death elemental team led by Cryptic was bad in terms of speed.

I like the way this player brings the death element warrior on the board with the Dragon summoner. The combination of Dragon warriors and Death warriors added a special set of negative abilities pointed towards the enemy.
Intended Actions as plan to win
The key to dominate this arena was the potential of one side to regenerate enough health point to survive the bad spell flying over both side of the board.
As you can see, Dragon team has the most dangerous abilities in the arena. You can put on first position, the multiple effort to reduce the enemy speed to one. The Double strike, bloodlust and blast abilities for the offensive. Also, the health tank on two cards in the Dragon team.
The last but not to ignore ability was the poison Burst from Ulfga. I had never seen in action this ability, but you can see the damage caused on the opposition lineup.
The strategy was to cripple the enemy line by slowing down every move of the adversary war game. When successful, the blast and double strike will reduce all protect or defensive shield to accelerate the destruction of the enemy.
In case the opposition succeed to eliminate any cards from the dragon team, there is a price to pay for this surge of courage.
The poison burst will create a heavy problem on the enemy line. The martyr ability once activated will double the stats of friendly cards.
As if the entire potential describe above was not enough, the Dragon team had Bloodlust to make sure the destruction of the enemy will boost his current offensive force.
Final thoughts
Dragon team had only one weakness and I would have exploited this limitation.
I believe that the stun ability on a warrior in the death element would have created more damage than any abilities in the arena.
It was the only plan of action no players did not consider during the selection of the cards before the combat started.
