Hello everyone!
I hope you're having a great day as you read this, and that you're enjoying this wonderful game Splinterlands as much as I am!
Today I'm here to tell you about a simple way to optimize your DECs to get the power collection you want.
Isn't it annoying when, at the end of a season, you struggle to get the collection power you need for the next rank, allowing you to glean a few more chests?
Fortunately, there is a simple trick to make life easier in Splinterlands!
Many people here must already be familiar with this technique, but since so many new players are joining us every day, I thought it would be very useful to publish it.
Peakmonsters : you best friend frow now on
For those who don't know, there is a card buying and renting platform called peakmonsters: https://peakmonsters.com/ .
An overview of the homepage of Peakmonsters
The cards on this marketplace are exactly the same as the ones you can find directly in the game. In fact, your account on peakmonsters is linked to your splinterlands account through Hive (isn't that wonderful?)
Peakmonsters is full of interesting features, but the one we are interested in today is the ability to filter cards by a ratio (Collection Power Earned / DEC by day). In other words, this means: which cards allow me to get the most collection power compared to their cost.
If you click on the "rental" tab of Peakmonsters, this is what you will get: a list of all the cards in the game, with advanced filters on the right of your screen.
In the image above, I have highlighted the column that is of particular interest to us here: CP per DEC/Day.
A simple click on the column allows you to see instantly which cards have the best CP/DEC ratio.
This ratio corresponds to the number I underlined on the previous image. At the time of writing, the Goblin Firemage is the most interesting non-gold card to rent to increase your Collection Power: for 0.25 DEC per day, you get 200 Collection Power, which is a ratio of 800CP per DEC spent.
Why you really should use Peakmonsters
Another interesting feature of Peakmonsters, which is clearly not negligible, is that you can rent several cards at the same time, whereas in Splinterlands you have to wait a certain amount of time before your transaction is completed. The process of renting cards on peakmonsters is therefore in two ways more efficient.
Obviously, you probably don't want to bother with the hassle of having to rent hundreds of common or rare cards. You can speed up your rental process by filtering only epic or legendary cards, as well as gold cards.
Conclusion and additionnal informations
Finally, this guide wouldn't be complete without giving you the different tiers to reach. All the following pictures are taken directly from the splinterlands documentation, which you can find here.
I hope you enjoy this little guide as much as I did writing it. Let me know if you have any other little techniques to optimize your rental.

I can still remember how glad I was when that feature was released! It is very time consuming to manually compute a card's DEC, and odds are someone has already beat you to it after you're done computing LOL
Thanks for sharing! - @libertycrypto27

Peakmonsters is really a great container of very useful tools and I use it a lot.
