Welcome to my new daily content: the battle of the day!

This is a ranked Diamond match. The game had the following rule sets: Even Stevens and Going the Distance. The game had a 14 mana cap and only Fire and Death were inactive. I picked Ilthain as my summoner and started with Gallicus. Next, I placed Venari Crystalsmith and I finished with Xenith Archer. They opted for Quix with Naga Assassin in front. They followed it up with Xenith Archer, Merdhampir, and Igor Darkspear. They finished the team with Elanor.
Only Merdhampir and Igor could deal damage to my Gallicus. However, the danger came from Merdhampir's Cripple and Naga Assassin's Backfire. In round 3, Elanor was the first unit to die. Crystalsmith killed Naga Assassin in round 4, because it missed 2 attacks before that. However, that was still enough for my team to kill their Xenith Archer before Merdhampir could attack, in round 5. Merdhampir had 1 more speed than my 2 attackers but, without Naga Assassin, it dropped to the same speed. Since my units are rare and Merdhampir is a common, mine attack first. Even though Gallicus's max HP was down to 2, they could only attack with Igor, dealing 1 damage per turn, which the Crystalsmith Heals. The game was officially over but it lasted until round 7.
