Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Lilly Shieldpaw is still Great!

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.

I fought an interesting battle in Modern Diamond ranked. It was a game where I used Lily Shieldpaw. This is a legendary dragon summoner from Chaos Legion. It gives +1 HP, Camouflage, and Triage to the team.

This game has the following rule sets: Weak Magic, Aim True, and Explosive Weaponry. I put Djinn Oshannus in front, followed by the Weapons Training combination of Baakjira, Rage, and Merdaali Guardian. I finished the team with Anasth Soothsayer and Gem Meteor. The idea was to have them focus their attacks on Oshannus and Baakjira can Heal the Blast damage. I have 2 more Tank Heals and the Triage. Gem Meteor can get some great hits with the Scattershot. They went with Avina of the Wolf and used Inevitable as their tank. Corsair Bosun was in their Reach slot, followed by Iziar. They ended the team with the Weapons Training combination of Evelyn Auvera, Aves Sturgis, and Nimbledook Explorer.

They gave Heal to Inevitable. In round 1, nothing died, but II dealt heavy damage to Iziar, while most of the damage on Djinn Oshannu was Healed back. In round 2, I finished Iziar. I was finally able to take out Aves Sturgis in round 4 with Gem Meteor, while my magic units finished Inevitable. In round 5, they were left with only Evelyn Auvera, which I took out in the next one.

Their team was strong but I had enough power and Affliction to be able to take out Iziar fast. After that, Inevitable isn't as great when facing a magic team. Gem Meteor also had the potential to kill many backline monsters. My team was much better equipped to face magic attackers, which they had many.
