Hey Guys and Gals Chris here... and after this todays townhall I feel like we have to talk about the up and coming Legendary Life Summoner.
In the last two minutes of the March 23rd Splinterlands townhall Nate ,Splinterlands Art Director, dropped the eye candy below. Nate did also remind us that this doesn't mean this is the final art but its close. So let speculate possible summoner buffs or debuffs.
Rathe will be the next summoner addition to the Splinterlands game and he will be meta changing.
At first glance it looks as though we have got ourselves a magic boosting summoner, but a lot of the speculations leading into the release of Chaos Legion said the same about Tarsa. As you can see below that isn't what we got, some might say not even close.
So lets take a look at the Life summoners we currently have in the game.
Looking over the current Life Summoners we see that most of them have buffs with only The Peakrider having a ranged attack debuff. 5 out of the 8 summoners also have an armor buff or armor repair ability. I feel like this means we won't be see another summoner with an armor buff. Also something that the life splinter is missing is speed. All the other splinters have had a summoner with either a speed buff or debuff except the life splinter. I believe its about time and Rathe maybe the one to bring it. One final note before I make my prediction is that Life and Fire are the only two splinters that don't have a magic buff or debuff summoner. So is it about time they get one??
Ok enough of my rambling what do I think this summoners abilities will be...
I believe that Rathe will be a +Magic, +speed, and possibly +hp. I believe he will be the Valnamor of the Life Splinter.
I know it isn't that sexy of a prediction but I could see it happening. For one the life splinter is one of the slower splinters with its very slow ranged monsters. Secondly the magic buff would help its two new epic cards (Temporal Master & Dax Paragon) be more appealing and make them at least a little more epic.
