Splinterlands Battle Mage Weekly Challenge - Up to Five

Hello everybody in the splinterlands community and to all members of hive. This is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage challenge for this week.

Ruleset and Its Meaning

This ruleset is the Five Alive which means up to 5 units can be used in the battle

This other ruleset is the melee mayhem which means melee units can attack from any position.

Summoner and Team Choices

I chose this earth summoner, to grant my cards the thorns ability.

My opponent chose this life summoner which gave its only the card +1 shield.

Round 1

The summoner buffs were applied to the various cards and the battle started with my third card attacking my opponent. It reduced the health to 9 which unluckily for me, resulted in my opponent's enrage ability coming to life increasing the melee attack to 8 and speed to 3. Just one attack from my opponent's only card (Drybone barbarian) was enough to get my first card killed. Luckily, thorns came into effect and removed my opponent's shield.

My last card attacked taking to health from 8 to 9.

Round 2

My new second card (Regal Peryton) reduced the health of my opponent to 7. My opponent killed my new first card(Fungus Flinger). Thorns damage was done and my second card which became first (Regal Peryton) gained an additional magic attack, health and speed.
