Hello everyone, today I will post again about card strategy guides using Commander Slade. this is a new reward card from Water Element.
Disclaimer :
This discussion may only suit someone with limited cards who can't rent or buy expensive/strong cards. I only have a standard card in my scholar account, Chaos Legion card or older, and I rent several cheap cards like Arkemis the Bear, Doctor Blight, etc. I battle in the Diamond League.
General Slade Ability
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
 | Enfeeble, each successful attack reduces the defender's Melee attack by 1 |
 | Dodge, has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks, it increased by+25%. |
 | Reflection Shield,this unit is immune to all indirect, or reflected damage. That means that it will not take damage from Blast, Thorns, Return Fire, or Magic Reflect. |
 | Backfire, If an enemy misses this unit with an attack, the attacker takes 2 damage. |
Note :
The ability and stats above will show all at level 10/max level, I only have this unit at level 5 but it is already good enough to use it in the Diamond League battle in.
The Battle Using This Card
I will show the battle with this unit against The Life element :
Battle using Commander Slade. , I'm using BLTZ-WIZARD-710, battle in the Diamond league :
 | Taking Sides Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles. There are no special tricks for this ruleset, but make a balanced team. |
 | Weak Magic, magic attacks hit armor before reducing Health.! |
 | Healed Out, all healing abilities are removed from unit and Summoners.. |
In this battle we cannot use the unit that is usually used when using the Wise the Possibilus summoner, the Arkemis the Bear, because Neutral monsters cannot be used, so we have to look for an alternative replacement. We can using Diemonshark or Commander Slade and finally we decided to use Slade because he has the Enfeeble ability. If the enemy uses Diemonshark I think Slade will be able to defeat him.
Conclusion
It can be seen in the battle that the Imperial Knight is no match for Slade because apart from the difficulty of hitting Slade, it is also because the damage from the Imperial Knight is reduced to 1. This is a comparison of Commander Slade from level 5 that we have and the max level:
There seems to be quite a big difference in stats and abilities, we don't know yet whether at max level it will be able to replace Arkemis the Bear, Slade has higher speed + Dodge ability VS The Bear Enrage ability (increases speed and damage when his health is reduced by 50%.). The Bear with Halving ability will reduce damage from Slade to 3 while Slade with Enfeeble will reduce damage from Bear to 1 after attacking 3 times. Because I don't have the max level yet, I can only estimate that Slade will likely be able to beat the Bear.
Just like The Bear, Slade's weakness is magic, therefore using a unit with the Taunt ability will really help divert magic attacks. With his high speed and Dodge ability, I think Slade will be more able to deal with ranged and melee attacks than The Bear.
Until I have Slade max level then everything is just an estimate, it still takes 3-4 more seasons maybe to reach max level :).
