Support Articles : How to effectively use Glint for Beginners

in Splinterlandslast month

Hello, Splinterlovers, today I will make a post How to use Glint effectively.
I usually battle in the Modern Format Diamond League using my scholar accounts from Balthazar bltzr-wizard-710. So, this post is about using "Glint"" in the Diamond League for beginners, but the strategy can be used in lower leagues too.

Where is Glint Shop and How to get Glint

Glint Shop is located below the battle button if you are using the computer. This is what I have now after battling several seasons and using some Glint to buy the cards. For this end-of-season reward Glint, I get 143.717.

For each battle you win you can get some Glint, as you see I got 935 Glint, it's not much for Diamond League because I only have little SPS staking, if you lose you don't get any Glint like the picture above.

How I use my Glint

I focus on getting cards first, I plan to max all cards first before getting any chest, because this reward card has a limited time, after the time expires the reward will be replaced with another card so we have to quickly maximize the cards we have by buying cards draw at Glint Shop every season :

We have to buy it every season because there will be a price increase after purchasing a certain amount, which will reset every season. For example, when we want to get a reward card with the rarity Common we can buy "Common Draw" for 150 Glint. In the picture, you can see that Batch 1 has 400 stock, which means that after we buy 400 of these cards at a price of 150 Glint, the price of the next card will increase as you can see :

It can be seen in the picture above that after buying 400 cards for the Common rarity the writing changed to Batch 2 and the price increased to 225 Glint from the initial price of 150. Likewise, the prices of Rare and ** Epic draw in Batch 2 also increased.
In last season I bought cards with Legendary rarity but not this season because the Glint I have is starting to run low.

Summary

  • focus on opening cards in Common, Rare, and Epic rarities for Batch 1 only every season.
  • Once the cards I want reach the maximum level (Diamond league level), I will stop opening cards at a certain rarity and I will focus on buying the Legendary draw according to the Glint I have (Legendary Draw is expensive).
  • And if all the cards I want are complete in the Legendary rarity then I will repeat again to complete the cards that I don't really want or have the potential to rarely use, starting from the rarity Common through Legendary.
  • The final step after all the cards are complete is to open the Loot Chest:

in this chest will randomly give "Merit", "Soulbound card", "Energy", "Potions" and "Jackpot" with a greater chance of getting the Jackpot with the smallest order from Minor Chest - Ultimate Chest. I don't know what Jackpot is. I never got it, but maybe "Rebellion card pack". Examples of items we can get when opening the Ultimate Chest:

This last step seems to be difficult for me to achieve, because in the old reward card before this, I was not successful in maxing all the reward cards, because of the limited cards I had so it was difficult for me to win in the Champion League. I only have small SPS rentals which make *Glint * I get for each battle not that big, therefore the guide on how to use Glint that I wrote is more suitable for beginners who have limited resources and want to focus on getting complete reward cards to increase the winning percentage in each battle.

Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to review my battle support articles on how to effectively use Glint for Beginners. I appreciate your efforts and would be grateful if you could provide me with feedback on any mistakes you find by leaving a comment.
