Usut Backstory

300 years before Usut first died, and before he received his first resurrection, Usut the red dragon was already very famous in the world Splinterlands. The Usut is known as a scary carrier of death. Before the Lord of Darkness resurrected him, he had a secret mission that changed the history of the world of Splinterlands.
At the beginning of his appearance, Usut was a highly respected warrior among the Dragonorb, a strong and formidable race of dragons, with magical powers which has enormous damage. Usut is famous for his bravery in battle and loyalty to the Drakengard, an ancient dragon clan that ruled the sky and many regions in Splinterlands.

Even though the ancient dragon clan is very strong, there is a hidden threat emerging from an ancient dragon named Torak Jihar.

Torak Jihar was exiled because he was discovered to be learning forbidden magic to summon Emptiness, as the name suggests Emptiness is an ancient creature from thousands of thousands of years ago who at the time of his birth only had 1 goal swallowing all existing living creatures. Not much is known about this creature because all those who have encountered it have almost all perished, and those who managed to survive and defeat him no longer exist in this world. It is said that he was successfully sealed in another dimension by combining the powers of heroes who had enormous elemental powers
(Fire, Water, Death/Dark, Earth, Life) and a genius from the ancient dragon clan who studied ancient dragon seal techniques.
Secret Mission to Stop Torak Jihar
When Drakengard learned about Torak Jihar's evil intentions, the Drakengard elders set out Usut to carry out a very dangerous mission. Usut was not only tasked with stopping Torak Jihar but also infiltrating the network of dark forces that had infiltrated many factions.
Usut must infiltrate the enemy's fortress, find the place where the Emptiness summoning ritual will be carried out, and thwart the plan.
However, the deeper he investigates, the more betrayals he encounters. The Death Knights, The Magi of Fire Splinter, Lagfael known as the Lord of Darkness, are also involved in this dark alliance.
Lagfael with forbidden magic plans to use the power of Emptiness to strengthen himself. This also includes many independent forces known as Mercenaries who work for anyone willing to pay them.
Find out getting trapped in the vortex of a bigger game. In his effort to stop Torak Jihar he was forced to collaborate with several dark forces including several factions that were supposed to be his enemies. This made him increasingly connected and exposed to the power of darkness, namely death. Gradually his soul began to change, cruelty and darkness began to envelop him.
Betrayal and Death
After several years of infiltration missions, Usut finally managed to find out the time and place of Emptiness summoning,

When that day came, he rushed alone into the Torak Jihar fortress which was located in the Black Glacier. He was forced to enter alone hoping it could buy more time, even though he knew the time and place of the ritual, unfortunately, time was very tight, and his allies couldn't keep up with his speed. His friends in the ancient dragon clan needed time to arrive at the ritual site.
Black Glacier is an area of ice that is rarely exposed to light. There Finally Usut was able to confirm Lagfael's betrayal.
Beaten by Lagfael, Torak Jihar and his allies finally Usut could no longer survive with their bodies covered in blood, and finally Usut fell on the ground and was no longer able to move.
Knowing that allies from Usut would soon arrive, to speed up the ritual Torak Jihar sacrificed Usut to open the dimension where Emptiness was sealed. Just when the seal was almost completely destroyed, Usut's allies and friends from the ancient dragon clan managed to arrive at the fortress, repelling the forces of darkness and repairing the seal of Emptiness.
In the chaos of the battle and the diversion of the power of most of the ancient dragon clan to repair the Emptiness seal, Torak Jihar and Lagfael successfully fled. Lagfael manages to bring Usut's body before flees.

With Dark magic Lagfael brings Usut's back to life because he knew the power of Usut and needed strong subordinates. Usut was resurrected as an Undying, a creature that will never truly die, and must obey its master.
Am I really Alive?
Usut back in the same world, as Undyings that have greater power. In his heart Usut holds a grudge against Lagfael, Torak Jihar, and the factions involved in his murder.
Even though he is now forced to obey his master, because of the death contract instilled in him, he never forgets his final duty there is still a strong desire in his heart to destroy the remaining forces of darkness that are still trying to revive Emptiness.
Usut was filled with anger as Undying he could neither return to Dragonorb nor to Drakengard. Usut is caught in a larger conflict, allies who previously worked together to destroy Emptiness have now turned into a threat because he has become the killing machine of the Lord of Darkness Lagfael.
Many factions want to take advantage of his immortal powers. But is Lagfael really controlling it? Even though Usut is forced to obey Lagfael, Usut still has his self-awareness, Lagfael does not know this.
