So I've been playing Splinterlands for about a week now. Learned alot and failed alot. Getting into Bronze II has proved rather difficult with the starter decks, but I did it for a brief moment. Of course, the more games you play the percentage of DEC decreases. If you're not in Bronze II, you can't receive any DEC, which brings forther the following strategy I want to pursue.
To limit the amount of out of pocket money spent on the game, I'll utilize free tokens I've been given from chests to rent cards. Before renting cards, I'll either get as close to Bronze II as I can or just step inside Bronze II with the starter decks without progressing further in order to not worsen my DEC percentage. Depending on how many games I've played, it may take 2-3 days for my DEC percentage to recover. Once my DEC percentage is at 100%, I plan on renting desirable cards for Bronze II with game given tokens in order to maximize my DEC return opportunity. I'll then play down to 75% DEC recovery and wait a day until my percentage is close to 100% DEC before repeating the strategy over again until the end of the season. This way I collect DEC that can be used to rent future cards, learn which cards are good for Bronze II, limit out of pocket money spent and earn air drop points. We'll see how this strategy works. It seems pretty low risk, but in order to progress more quickly in the game, besides spending money, do yall have any other suggestions? If all else fails, I can spend a few credits to rent a card or two in order to advance as close to Bronze II as I can get.
The battles are though this day.
