Now, you just need to have or rent a few cards that have a relatively decent win rate and hopefully (or with a bot) you can even make it all the way to champion league.
For the past two years all changes have been focused exclusively on tokenomics at the expense of gameplay. Splinterlands is not a play to earn game or even a pay to earn game at all. If you forget about that failed marketing and focus on playing, you realize that it is really an entertaining game when you face humans at your same level. Of course, it's extremely disappointing to have to lose 80% of the battles against the bots before finding another human adversary, but if you have nothing else to do, it's even worth the time invested.
