Splinterlands Valentines - Episode 3 - Undead Rexx and Byzantine Kitty

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

I am really enjoying making these cutsie, Valentine themed Valentines to help spread the word about Splinterlands! For this edition, I started out with Undead Rex and Byzantine Kitty (Everyone's Favorite!).

This is one of my favorite cards to rent, I wish I owned it, but sadly the card is too pricey for me.

I do own this card, and enjoy playing it in higher mana death battles.

Anyway, I drew a simple sketch with the possible message.

Next, I added the kitty and one of her sidekicks to her Valentine's back.

Next, I kind of tidied up things and experimented with the background color.

I think it's super cute! Who knew two cold-hearted killers could find love in the Splinterlands?! Just needs my initials and I'm calling it done. Only 4 more days until Valentine's Day!

Now this is a combination I did not expect. Two deadly cards, together, and so cute. Lovely work!
