Silver Grind Thoughts

in Splinterlands3 years ago

This is my 1st post please be kind, just wanted to use this to share some of my thoughts and strategies whilst grinding in the lowest silver leagues

I have been playing a few months now with the basic lvl 1 summoners but finally decided to upgrade with the chaos summoners being reasonably priced. My goal is to upgrade atleast 2 summoners to push into the higher leagues but for now lets focus on the summoner I was able to upgrade to lvl 2 Kelya Frendul.

My main focus has been really utilising the speed boost kelya gives whilst also decreasing my opponents speed with creeping ooze and trying to make my opponents miss as many of their shots as possible.
Monsters such as Diemonshark, Djinn Oshannus and Serpent of Eld I've found to be really great for this with the +1 speed boost

This strategy I find extremley effective against Tarsa opponents that like to use Living Lava, Antoid Platoon and even Tenyii Striker. The speed difference makes my monsters almost unhittable at times. This match below is a good example of my team setup which resulted in a win as my opponents cards constantly missed their shot

Im really enjoying this speed focused play so for now i'm going to keep utilising it whilst trying to upgrade a few of my cards now that I have a lvl 2 summoner, but I also still have an eye on the chaos pack general sale coming up in a few weeks. Hopefully I can purchase close to 100 packs and really push into the higher silver leagues

Your speed strategy sounds fun and effective - I would just worry about opponents using magic and boost. Thanks for sharing!

Your right magic is a weakness for this team, if I am predicting my opponent going that way I will swap out the diemonshark for torhilo the frozen and have 2 monsters with void in the front positions, not a bad counter
