Is there any reason to rent power to move to higher leagues?

Since the reward changes, it seems like there is no benefit to moving from Silver III to II to I. The rewards are based on rating, which can indefinitely increase no matter which league you are in.

Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

      From what i have seen if you keep the same rating but change league the RP and Dec that you win does change. I earn more in bronze 1 with 1200 rating then i earn in Bronze 2 1200 rating.
