Business Model | Let's start by talking about the business model of the company behind Splinterlands. Its main focus is selling packs with cards from new collections, promo cards and event cards. The amounts that are raised from these sales finance the company and the development of the game, but what if there is something interfering with the main revenue?

Problem | What has been happening these days is that you start the game by buying or renting a deck of relevant cards. But after a point your collection will be enough to play the game competitively with current Rewards cards that you earn and some Chaos Legion Cards that are at their lowest value, cards like Djinn Oshannus that make a difference in your Deck, or the Chaos Legion summoners that will serve to improve your entire collection because it provides flexibility.

It is a problem for the long term of Splinterlands, because these cards that users get “FREE” when playing the game can make the cards sold by the splinterlands team irrelevant. This ends up conflicting with the Splinterlands team's own business model. So, if the team doesn't make enough profit, the game doesn't progress, and this is harmful for everyone, because updates and improvements decrease.

Solutions | If there were no reward cards, the company's business model would be more profitable, because players could only have new cards by purchasing the packs it sells. However, free cards are something that has come from Splinterlands since the beginning and that many players like, because it brings the nostalgia of opening packs, of winning something that will make you stronger, known as Grind, improving and advancing over time. invested in the game.

The problem is that when this is done en masse by several “Accounts”, the effect ends up being negative, as happened when the cards were unlinked NFTs, but this does not mean that players have to once again pay the price these “accounts”. A possible change would be, with the Wild Pass and fewer accounts playing, to do something that used Glint to improve cards, perhaps, something that would make players really need to reach the highest levels of the game. Perhaps Soulbound cards can use Glint to level up, while sold cards use a combo system? What would be your solution?

Another possible solution would be to customize the cards with a mechanism that already exists in the game, which are Skins. If special Skins were created and added to the Glint Store that transformed, gave an upgrade in status, it would make players need more Glint and would bring more competitiveness to the game, because cards equipped with the Skin would be stronger than their common versions.< /p>

This would be an option available without having to use Items or Spell, something that will be created by the game's Lands, and if it were distributed for free it would make Land Owners very angry. Ele tem como foco principal a venda de packs com cartas de novas coleções, promo cards e cartas de eventos. Os valores que são arrecadados com essas vendas que financiam a empresa e o desenvolvimento do jogo, mas e se tiver algo atrapalhando a principal receita?

Problema | O que tem acontecido autalmente é que você começa o jogo comprando ou alugando um deck de cartas relevantes. Só que depois de um ponto a sua coleção vai ser o suficiente para jogar o jogo de forma competitiva com cartas de Recompensas atuais que você ganha e algumas Cartas Chaos Legion que estão nos seus valor mais baixo, cartas como Djinn Oshannus que fazem a diferença no seu Deck, ou os summoners do Chaos Legion que vão servir para melhorar toda a sua coleção porque fornece flexibilidade.

É um problema para o longo prazo do Splinterlands, porque essas cartas que os usuários conseguem “FREE” ao jogar o jogo podem fazer com que as cartas vendidas pelo time do splinterlands sejam irrelevantes. Isso acaba entrando em conflito com o próprio modelo de negócios da equipe do Splinterlands. Assim, se o time não lucra o suficiente o jogo não avança, e isso é prejudicial para todos, porque as atualizações e melhorias vão diminuindo.

Soluções | Se não houvesse cartas de recompensa o modelo de negócios da empresa seria mais lucrativo, porque os jogadores só poderiam ter novas cartas comprando os packs que ela vende. Entretanto, as cartas gratuitas é algo que já vem do Splinterlands desde o início e que muitos jogadores gostam, porque traz a nostalgia de abrir packs, de ganhar algo que vai te deixar mais forte, conhecido como Grind, ir melhorando e avançando com o tempo investido no jogo.

O problema é que quando isso é feito em massa por várias “Contas”, o efeito acaba sendo negativo, como aconteceu quando as cartas eram NFTs não vinculados, mas isso não significa que os jogadores tenham que mais uma vez pagar o preço dessas “contas”. Uma possível mudança seria agora com o Wild Pass e menos contas jogando fazer algo que usasse o Glint para melhorar as cartas talvez, algo que fizesse com que os jogadores precisassem realmente alcançar os maiores níveis do jogo. Talvez as cartas Soulbound possam usar Glint para upar de nível, enquanto as cartas vendidas usam um sistema de combinação? Qual seria a sua solução?

Uma outra possível solução seria personalizar as cartas com um mecanismo que já existe no jogo, que são as Skins. Se fossem criadas Skins especiais sendo adicionadas na Glint Store que transformasse, dessem um upgrade nos status, faria com que os jogadores precisassem de mais Glint e traria mais competitividade ao jogo, porque cartas equipadas com a Skin seriam mais fortes que suas versões comuns.

Essa seria uma opção disponível sem precisar usar Items e nem Spell que algo que vai ser criado pelas Lands do jogo, e se fosse distribuído de forma gratuita deixaria os Land Owners bem irritados. Ainda, é algo que os jogadores realmente querem há muito tempo, pode ver isso com a baixa quantidade disponíveis de skins sendo vendidas.
