I've been a bit disconnected from all the networks, because I've been a little sick, but I was always working at least half an hour a day on this character, I hope you like it.

He estado un poco desconectado de todas la redes, porque he estado un poco enfermo, pero siempre iba trabajando al menos media hora al día en este personaje, espero les guste.
Initially I was going to make the character with box modeling starting from the head, but then the headaches began and I decided to work with sculpting, because the work can be freer, I have to think less about how to do the geometry.
Inicialmente iba hacer el personaje con modelado de caja partiendo por la cabeza, pero luego me comenzaron los dolores de cabeza y decidí trabajar con esculpido, por que el trabajo puede ser mas libre tengo que pensar menos en como hacer la geometría.
After having in mind that I was going to do it by sculpting, I completed the shape of the body with basic shapes and then started sculpting to my liking.
Luego de tener en mente que lo iba hacer esculpiendo, completé la forma del cuerpo con forma básicas para luego comenzar esculpir a mi gusto.
At the end of the sculpting, I marked the vertices to work the hair with particles, then I modeled the shackles that this character has, and finally I worked something quite simple with the materials for the texture, I made a render without a background to edit it later in Photoshop .
Al terminar con el esculpido, marque los vértices para trabajar el pelo con partículas, después fui modelando los grilletes que tiene este personaje, y por ultimo trabajé algo bastante simple con los materiales para la textura, hice un render sin fondo para editarlo luego en Photoshop.

Now I imagined Splinterlands as a 3D video game. Probably it would be very successful. Maybe someone (or a team) will do it in the future.

Well the characters are what I practice the most with splinterlads, although the truth is that I don't practice enough to reach the level I want, I have to apply myself more.

I am still solidifying my decision. For Hive, I might just go on whatever I like. 😁 Problem with that is, I can't focus on a specific hard skills like modeling in Blender.
Expect that I will post about computer programming and fitness in the future aside from Blender art, I just need to settle things for now outside Hive.
I did research for the past few weeks to understand what they mean by "branding" and if it is the same in and outside of Hive. Turns out, it is different here in Hive. 🙂
For the past months that I didn't participate in the art contest, seems you are way ahead of me now. 🙂
Well, the personal brand is how they recognize you on the networks, the truth is that I am not very focused on that, but on doing something that I like, and sometimes I do a tutorial to try to contribute something, I should do it more often.
And in Blender, I don't really feel like I've made much progress, I used to practice a lot before, and I think I did better things, we just have to keep practicing to get better.
I personally wanted to test and utilize whatever that I've learned on Hive. Branding is one of the most recent thing that struck me. Some of the persons that I've encountered recommend sticking on only one thing for the sake of branding. It got me very curious that it disrupted my direction. LOL.
Btw, if ever you're curious, the persons that I've met in the LeoFinance community that recommended in specializing at one thing when blogging. I am learning a ton of things from them in terms of trading, marketing, branding, etc.
And yes, in art, all of the experts that I've met recommend daily practice to improve ones skill in art. I just don't have much time to practice nowadays. 🙂

jajaja solo debes entenderlo poco a poco, e ir practicándolo como si fuese dibujo, igual hay que dedicarle tiempo.
Si quieres aprender empieza con algunos tutoriales básicos, he hecho algunos, pero hay mucho material gratuito para aprender
