Hello hivers, happy almost weekend 😁
Several days ago I was not as happy as a result like this on my models. I had a period of little concentration and motivation, but I hope that the following ones turn out as well as this one.
For this result, I rendered the character without a background and then edited it in Photoshop.

Hace varios días no estaba tan contento como un resultado como este en mis modelos. Tuve un lapso de poca concentración y motivación, pero espero que los siguientes salgan tan bien como este.
Para este resultado hice el render del personaje sin fondo para luego editar en Photoshop

The truth is that I had not seen this card before looking for a character that I liked to model it, I imagine it is one of the first cards in the game. I found the dragon very nice and I feel that she is beautiful hahaha.


La verdad es que no había visto esta carta antes de buscar un personaje que me gustara para modelarlo, imagino que es una de las primeras tarjetas del juego. Me pareció muy simpática la dragona y siento que quedo hermosa jajaja.

  • The first thing to do and essential for a good sculpture is to make the base, although the way to do it can be diverse, in this work I made a box modeling without much detail, this is only just to have a structure.
  • Lo primero en hacer y esencial para una buena escultura es realizar la base, aunque la forma de hacerla puede ser diversa, en este trabajo hice un modelado de caja sin mucho detalle, este solo es solo para tener una estructura.

  • The second phase was to start sculpting that base to carry out all the details of the design.
  • la segunda fase fue comenzar a esculpir esa base para realizar todos los detalles del diseño.

  • For the third phase I did something unusual, which was to model the clothes on the sculpture; But to be able to print it has to be all one piece, although it is very easy to merge these extra parts that you model together with the sculpture, and to make animation you have to make a correct retopology to the sculpture to be able to apply movement without so much load of polygons and to avoid deformations in the mesh.
  • Para la tercera fase hice algo poco usual, que fue modelar sobre la escultura la ropa; pero para poder imprimir tiene que ser todo una pieza, aunque es muy fácil fusionar estas partes extras que modele junto con la escultura, y para hacer animación hay que hacerle una retopología correcta a la escultura para poder aplicar movimiento sin tanta carga de polígonos y para evitar deformaciones en la malla.

  • And to finish, I did the texturing work, which was creating an image in Blender and painting, in this process I helped a little with Illustrator, and to have a type of art more similar to the original designs, I used a Toon shaders.
  • Y para terminar realice el trabajo de texturas, que fue creando una imagen dentro de Blender e ir pintando, en este proceso me ayude un poco con Illustrator, y para tener una tipo de arte mas parecida a los diseños originales, use un shaders Toon.

3D modeling has quicly discouraged me the few times I've tried. I find it so difficult that people who manage to produce detailed pieces like that are a source of respect ! 🤩
