New Card Skin / Splinterlands Artistic Creation Part.6

in Splinterlands2 months ago

Hello friends, I hope you are very well. Today, I'd like to show everyone the card skin I created for "Splinterlands" Based on the Lore images, I used the Stable Diffusion software to run the LoRA model, selecting some of the better outcomes to serve as the Original picture. Then, I used Photoshop to turn them into card skin designs.

Since my friends from the Asian community and I enjoy Japanese anime-style character designs, such as those from YGO, WS, PTCG, etc., the card styles I've created are primarily in this vein. If this can attract some players who share similar interests, that would be even better.

I have nothing against American-style card designs and have great respect for the original art design; this is purely a form of secondary creation. So please do not attack me over this; thank you for your understanding.

I will include my creation process. If you're interested, you can also try making one yourself.

Step 1: First, download Stable Diffusion from the internet. After installation, set up your computer environment and then download a Japanese anime-style LoRA model. Feed the game's Lore images to LoRA and then select satisfactory results from the hundreds of output images to use as the original picture. The training and selection process takes about 3 to 4 hours.

Note: The LoRA model is a type of pre-trained model that can generate images in a similar style to the input images. It's faster and produces smaller files. Stable Diffusion can only have one base model (Checkpoint) but can be combined with a varying number of trained models (such as LoRA).

Step 2: Visit this website (https://www.baronstoolbox.com/frame.php) to download related assets for Splinterlands, including backgrounds and mask filters, and set the card values and ability. Finally, take a screenshot and modify the size.

Step 3: Import the background, mask layers, original picture, and card ability chart into Photoshop for editing. The image editing process takes about 3 to 4 hours.

Thank you all for watching. I will continue to create new card skins in the future, and I hope you will like them!
