Hi all, welcome to my post about the Splinterlands card battle.
Today I will share the fight I had with Crystal Jaguar. This is the theme for this week's Battle Challenge of Splinterlands.
You can also take part in this weekly challenge at this link:
The Crystal Jaguar is a common monster of the life type. This monster uses melee attacks. The max level is 10 with 400 combined cards. Crystal jaguar gains the thorn ability at level 4 and retaliates at level 9.
Power: This is a nice card with 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 5 health and 1 armor in level 1. Have no abilities at level 1.
Crystal Jaguar If it is at the maximum level (lv10), then this card can provide maximum damage to enemies in the front row. He is capable of dealing 6 points of melee damage. Ie attack with 2 points. When attacked, it deals with 2 thorn damage points and 2 melee points, making it a possible counterattack due to the retaliation ability.
Rules : Standard ( No modification to the standard gameplay rules anda mechanics.)
In round 1, all the monsters in my deck get an additional bonus of 1 health point from Renova, plus two armor points from Truthspeaker. On the enemy side of the line, all monsters get a speed reduction of 1 point. For enemy lines, everyone gets one additional melee attack point from the summoner.
Next, living lava gets a four-health point reduction due to attacks from Djinn Renova and light elementals. While the crystal jaguar it is not able to reduce the health points of living lava. Because the attack point is only 1 point. Other enemy attacks have not reduced the health points of all the monsters in my deck because there is an additional 1 point armor bonus.
In round 2, the Light Elemental gets rid of the living lava. And the ooze is removed by the serpentine spy which makes the enemy's speed return to normal. Cerberus reduces Crystal Jaguar points by 3 points but gains additional health points from Divine Healer at the end of the round.
In round 3, Crystal Jaguar was eliminated from the front row and replaced by Djinn Renova. Cerberus is critical with two health points remaining.
In the 4th round, Cerberus and the serpentine spy were eliminated, while Djinn Renova still survived with 7 health points remaining against the Giant Roc.
In the 5th round, the giant roc couldn't penetrate Djinn Renova, so it was easily defeated along with the kobold bruiser in the 6th round. The battle was won by my team.
In this battle, the crystal jaguar was in front with the support of another card of the magic type. For level 1, the crystal jaguar has no abilities. But with the crystal jaguar armor that it has and the amount of mana used, this card can be a hindrance. While magic attacks from other cards can get rid of enemies.
If the crystal jaguar is at level 10, this card will become a shield and at the same time, get rid of the opponent's card with its thorn and counter abilities.
Despite being ousted from the fight in the early stages, Crystal Jaguar managed to become a shield for this combat tactic. My team won the fight because the cards in the other lineup relied on melee assaults. The opponent does not set up a magic barrier on his card line.
For crystal jaguar, I don't wear it very often in combat. Because it doesn't have the ability at the current card level. It takes time and money to upgrade this card. But to use it, you can also rent this card.
Did my strategy work?
For this fight, my strategy of using crystal jaguar worked. Although crystal jaguar can be replaced with other monsters that use 5 points mana. For other battles, I will try to maximize the abilities of the crystal jaguar.
Okay all, that's all I can share about the fight I played using crystal jaguar. Thanks for your support. See you in the next post. I hope I can contribute a lot to this community.
