Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about New Rebellion Reward Cards and New Abilities.
There's been a great announcement that will add excitement to the Splinterlands game, with a brand new set of reward cards coming to accompany the Rebellion set. On Thursday, August 15th, we will be able to get new reward (soulbound) cards from rarity draws and loot chests we purchase from our rewards shop in the Splinterlands using Glint. This is really awesome.
By the way, on Thursday, August 15th, the Chaos Legion soulbound reward cards will be gone from the Rewards Shop forever, and will only be there for about 7 more days before being replaced by Rebellion, so if you need these cards, hurry up and get them. Additionally, those who wish will be able to unbind them. Those whose ties are fully unbound will be tradable and transferable. Once soulbound cards are fully unbound they will be tradable and transferable.
August 15th will mark the end of one era but the beginning of an exciting new one. I love the addition of new cards and new abilities to the Splinterlands because they make the game even more fun and increase the excitement of the game even more. A huge thank you to the Splinterlands team for this amazing update.
The new Rebellion reward cards haven't been revealed yet, but the ambassadors have shared them and I'll list some of the ones I found from their posts on X below. The Rebellion reward cards include 12 common cards, 12 rare cards, 7 epic cards, and 12 legendary cards. Here are some of the new Rebellion reward cards.
Soon all new cards will be added to the game and we will see all of them, for now I listed some of them above. By the way, I did not make any distinction while listing them. Also, I may have made a mistake while listing the cards, if you think there are any mistakes, I would be very happy if you could let me know.
Also, if you want to see other cards and more, you can check out the ambassadors page. Thank you to all of them for sharing.
I have to say that I love almost all the new cards listed above, they look really cool and I can't wait to add them all to my deck. Great cards that will increase the excitement of the game, I really thank the team.
Additionally, 4 new abilities will be added to the game with new reward cards.
Corrupted Healing Ability restores 1/3 of max health to allied units each round, rounding down. And each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1. This looks like a pretty cool ability and I can't wait to see how it works on the battlefield.
Monsters with the Execute Ability will perform another attack against the same unit if the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack. I don't know how this ability will work yet, but I imagine it could be a very brutal combo for opponents when combined with the Execute Ability and the Trample Ability, especially in battles with the Stampede ruleset. I can't wait to test this ability.
Monsters with the Mimic Ability can gain a random ability from the enemy team at the beginning of round 2 and each following round, and also have a 25% chance of gaining a random ability from an attacker when hit. Dispel removes one mimicked ability in the order they were gained. Meanwhile, Debilitations, Targeting abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt cannot be mimicked. Wow this is a really cool ability, stealing abilities from the opposing team will be a lot of fun.
Monsters with the Wingbreak Ability will always target enemy units with Flying first regardless of abilities or rulesets, and also deal +2 damage if the target has Flying Ability. Without a doubt, Wingbreak is a ability that can be very effective against units with Flying Ability.
There are some really cool new cards and awesome new abilities that are going to be added to Splinterlands, and I really loved almost all of them. After August 15th, playing Splinterlands will be both more fun and more exciting, I am already looking forward to August 15th. The best part is that we will be able to buy them with Glint tokens, by the way, which cards we get from draws and chests depends on luck, but I really want to have all the Rebellion reward cards. I need a lot of Glint tokens and will do my best to earn more. Thank you to the entire team and everyone who worked hard to make the Splinterlands game better, you are doing a really great job.
An exciting new era begins in the Splinterlands, are you ready?
