Hi splinter farm,

Another week is upon us and here we are again so share some splinterlands tips with each other. If you know me you’ll know I like playing a lot. I think spl is one of the games that I’ve come to enjoy so much when I have good network. It’s necessary to add that bit cause without good network I get frustrated and I end up surrendering battles.

When that happens I have to stop playing cause even after team selection it shows that I have surrendered the battle. So let’s take about the good part now; when I have good network to play.

It so turns out today I made some time to play a few games after I was done with some things I had to do. So I’ve made it to diamond yet again and honestly at this point I don’t have to force my way into diamond, it comes to me naturally and I end up making a lot of effort but not being able to get to diamond I at most times. This time round I aim to get into champion and see how it feels.

So as I was playing I came across the Tofu summoner which in all honesty I’ve always said it’s one of the summoners that I hate to face. It’s a summoner which is so powerful and deadly. Since I’ve stopped looking at for what team or line up my opponent used in his last battles I wasn’t expecting to come against Tofu.

So it was the ferocity Ruleset, weak magic Ruleset and then fog of war Ruleset.

Having the weak magic Ruleset would have definitely pointed me towards choosing the shatter summoner but for the sake of the battle mana which was 25 I changed my mind. I wanted to be able to put in a lot of cards so bringing in a summoner with 6 mana would have made it impossible. I went for the obsidian summoner which is a 4 mana summoner.

My first card was xenith monk, followed by fungus fiend, regal peryton, doctor blight, magi of chaos and xenith archer. With the ferocity Ruleset it meant I was gonna deal his cards with taunt ability 2x the damage.

Tofu comes with a divine shield feature which my opponent enjoyed at the beginning of the battle but I had my way cause in the first round I managed to take the life out of his fungus fiend. Things didn’t go easily for him as his next card which was supposed to stay longer was dealt a 2x damage and killer easily.

He dealt 2 of my comrades a dirty blow which took them out. Round 2 was about to scare me as he took out one of my strong cards as well. But my cards fought back pretty well and took it home.

It was a match where the ferocity ability helped me a lot. Because I had magic cards I didn’t touch him to be dealt the thorns blow so it went smoothly for me even though I lost some comrades as well.
