Hi guys,
Welcome to my blog. As I try as much as I can to make an effort to make consistent blog posts again, something seems to be holding me back but I am doing all I can to post everyday. It’s pathetic cause in January I was making consistent blog posts and it was really interesting. All of a sudden it takes days for me to post something on my blog.
Away from that, today I’ll be making an entry into the engagement challenge. This is a new kind as we are tasked to write about forgotten cards. One thing that I have come to terms with is that no matter what there will come a time were a once sort after card night be come extinct or considered as a forgotten card.
Why do I say this? I say this because I remember how djinn was hot a few years ago. This was a card you couldn’t do without in any battle because of its quality. Now, all of a sudden this is a card most people have forgotten about because it has been rolled out of modern and can only be used in wild format.
So today let’s talk about one of the games that I played and lost. This loss came as a surprise cause at that particular time I was high and might and thought I couldn’t loose a game due to my streak but I was wrong. The rule sets for this game were keep your distance, tis but scratches and are you not entertained?. From these set of rulesets it’s clear that I can’t use melee cards so I opted for a no attack card with a healing ability in the first position.

So I opted for baakjira, a card I hardly call on since it has no attacking prowess. Next in line was djinn oshanus. A card I use cause I don’t have better cards. I admit that djinn oshanus is a great card but I wouldn’t be using it if I had a better card option.
Next was magi of chaos. Another card I don’t like calling upon simply because of its low speed. River nymph was next and then doctor blight who is not a forgotten card.
So having to face an opponent who has a martyr card and then taunt ability is crazy. I say this cause when this happens all your attacks go its way and then the opponent has time to attack your other cards while you waste time on his single card.

So this was what happened in round one up until round 3 till I killed his card. Having the martry ability it upped the stats of his other cards close to it.
It didn’t take long till he killed my first card and then had it easy from there on. I say it was easy cause it was the only card with healing ability and had a lot of health.
Djinn oshanus stepped up and did its best but it wasn’t enough. From there on it was an easy win for my opponent.
