So I think I’ve been playing spl for approximately a year and half and a lot of things still confuse me. Most of the time I consider it as a good thing. I say it’s a good thing because splinterlands is a broad game and it’ll take a lot to grasp everything in a short while. One other reason is that every few weeks we have updates to the game which makes it hard for you to just absorb everything in the game.
One of the things which still confuses me to this day is land. I mean I’ve got a land on spl and I indeed know how to build on it but it’s not an easy task to build on land. Building on land to earn first of all takes a lot of patience which cab be equated to time which I don’t have at times. I mean I have time, it’s just the patience that I don’t have hence making it really hard for me to just up and build a beautifully working land which will at least earn me a few sps or grains or whatever.
As much as I can remember I tried building on the land some months ago when I got it. I did get it running when I was able to acquire some energy. I saw how long it’ll take to get grain and lost faith, if only I’d left it I would have been earning some grains or even sps with the land.
Let me also add that for a long time I’ve not had much interest in land so it might also be a reason why I still don’t understand a great portion of it.
So what are my strategies for land 1.75? Well, with land 1.75 coming I seem to have a renewed interest in land. First of all, I’ll need to understand how this whole land thing works before I can put forth my working plan to maximise land.
This time round I’ve realised that even if it’ll take a long time I’ll need to work my land. I’ll need to put farmers on it and make sure it produces enough stuff for me. One thing is I have this land on my main account which I hardly play on anymore so I’ll definitely need to transfer it to my alt where I have a lot of other cards which can work on it.
For the longest time I’ve seen whales talk about how excited they are about land on spl. I say whales cause most of that time they own a huge plots and so they want it to succeed. Having a small region is not necessarily a huge deal but I think in a few years it’ll be worth something.
So let’s see how it goes.

If you have some extra funds available I will suggest to get few Untamed series Gold Foil cards specially legendaries. They have very high production power and will help you get a good Grain output from land.
