So last week or should I say earlier this week I wasn’t able to join in on our guild’s brawl matches due to my last minutes tactics. I prefer to leave it till later before entering my fray and then I successfully forgot. I painfully missed out on the sps reward and the merits that I would have gotten from that brawl.
It’s not a crazy amount of sps to miss out on but it’s little drops of water that forms a mighty ocean so missing out definitely didn’t make me happy. Ever since I started spl I’ve only ever missed brawling once and that one I don’t really count it as a miss cause I was able to play one or two games.
So the next brawl starts in a few hours and this time round I wouldn’t miss it. Enough of the missed brawl, let’s talk about a fun battle. For my social media challenge entry I concentrate mostly on my battles. This helps me reflect on what made me loose a particular battle and to also give new users an insight into what cards to use when they are given certain type of rulesets.
Yesterday I played a lot of battles and I did have some great matches. Let me talk about a game where I was confused but then I tried something and it worked out.
So for this particular game the rulesets where keep your distance and lost legendaries. Having the keep your distance ruleset means that you can’t use melee cards in this game but only magic and range cards. The lost legendaries also mean you can’t summon legendary units.
I am not a hater of the keep your distance Ruleset but then I don’t like it when I am given a battle mana as low as 19. This limits me as I have magic card who have really high mana and having low mana kind of keeps me off.
So for this one I went for the water element. I went for the keyla frendul summoner. I did want to go for magic cards but I didn’t have many will small mana so I went for a no attack card the chaos agent as my first card. Second card was the nerissa tridawn a magic card who has a 9 mana so it took away my mana as well.
Then I went for a healer range card, the angelic mandarin and then igor darkspear another range card. My opponent went in for a summoner i will usually go for so I knew he definitely looked at my last games played.
So this game went well in the round all though my first card was killed. I was not scared cause I almost killed his first card and I knew I’d get to it in round 2. As I predicted I killed his most dangerous card and then it was an easy go from them.
It went on to round 4 and then I won’t the match only loosing one card in this battle.

I really like these short mana battles, they seem more exciting than those where you can put down any monster that doesn't fill up with mana. It ends up being a game of who has the highest cost.
