Hello, everyone on this noble platform and the Hive ecosystem at large. I am very excited to write and share this wonderful article with you all, and I hope that you guys will enjoy reading it as well. Today, I am writing this post as part of the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, and it is an exciting one that I think you all will love.
In my previous Splinterlands Social Media post, I shared with you how I purchased my Spellbook and my card rental journey right after buying the spellbook. Today, I will share an amazing battle that I hope you guys will like. After playing several battles and advancing to the bronze league, I understand that it is not as easy as it was when I used to play on the wood stage where I was winning every battle that comes my way.
The battle was a 99 mana battle where I selected my team from the Death Deck this time around and not from the Earth Deck. All six elements were active in the battle and the ruleset was the Holy Protection where all monsters gain the divine shield ability. Cursed Windeku monster was my first positioned card and with its thorns ability, all my opponent's first monsters attacked it first.
At the end of the first round, I was able to eliminate the Cursed Windeku monster of my opponent and similarly, my first-positioned monster was eliminated as well. We almost came with the same monster in the battle.
In the second round, no monster was eliminated from the battle but then I was having a good advantage because my monsters were able to reduce most of the health of my opponent.
In the next round (third), I was able to eliminate two of the monsters from my opponent's position. It was a very easy round for me and I got the confidence that I was winning the battle.
In the last round (round 5), my opponent was left with just one monster and I was able to take it down very easily and with just a single attack from my range monster (Dhampir Stalker).
With my magic attacks, I could eliminate the Dhampir Stalker monster and then its last monster missed the attack and finally got eliminated by my range monster. Link
Thanks, everyone for reading my post once again after a long break on Hive.
